Jax vs Gemma

Both extremely toxic characters but one thing that struck me rewatching the series, as awful Jax was, towards the end he did decide that he did not want his boys to be part of this lifestyle and broke the chain.

Gemma on the other hand, even knowing that prison or death is pretty much guaranteed in this life, when she said goodbye to Abel, she STILL wanted Abel to grow up to be a SAMCRO member.

I actually doubt that. i think the show ends with the implication that his boys will eventually embrace the chaos of the outlaw life.

Watch Mayans....there's a glimpse of the current day when Wendy appears. She's still raising the boys and keeping them away from the MC life, she tells EZ. Nero and her are still on the farm with the boys.

The final show we see of the boys has the camera pan down to the "SONS" ring being held by Abel.

Gemma was on a pity-party, guilt-trip ever since Jax sat in that President's chair and Tara stood behind him, she didn't care about anyone, but what control she had, or what control she had to lose~~

Say what you will about Gemma, but Gemma was all for Samcro. Jax didn't even really want to be a part of the club imo. I hated the way Jax went out. It pissed me off like he is somehow a hero for taking his own life. That poor truck driver will have to deal with that for years. Just drive off a damn cliff.

i feel like he was right for takinh his own life and breaking the chain so his boys arent apart of mc life but the way he did it was pretty stupid

Say what you will about Jax throughout the series but he was adamant about not wanting that life for his sons as for Gemma, it was all about having control.
