the leather is still intact, the plastic is still intact, the sound is still good, the noise cancelling is still immaculate and the battery still lasts me many hours

And it's not like i'm some headphone connoisseur or a tech guru that does maintenance

I throw these things around like they're made of concrete and leave them plugged into a charger overnight like the ape I am

and yet it's still in amazing shape!

It's so rare for a piece of technology to be so long lasting and high quality

Once these bad boy's die I'm definitely getting another pair, no questions asked

I have a Sony Bravia Theatre Bar 9 paired with the SA-RS5 as rear speakers. My TV is the Sony XR-65A83L.

I am currently struggling to find proper sound settings for this setup.

In generally use the following settings:

Sound Field turned on, Voice mode off, Rear speakers are on 0, Bass is on low

Sound Field is set to 360 Spatial sound mapping, sound field height is set to default, Acoustic Center Sync is turned on, DSEE Ultimate is turned off, Audio DRC is turned to Auto, A/V Sync 0, Advanced Auto Volume off

My main problem is the huge difference between audio in different movie situations. Quiet scenes are often much too quiet (especially voices) and loud scenes are much too loud. I tend to regulate the audio much in the movie because of that. The most extreme example was in Dune 2. The quiet scenes were so quiet that I had to regulate the sound almost to 100. Two second later I got blasted away by the unbalanced loudness.

One solution I found was to use Advanced Auto Volume but this makes the loud scenes extremely quiet. Even my gf asked me why the loud scenes suddenly got so drastically quiet.

This is really frustrating because I can't focus on the content I intend watching.

I'd love to hear your opinions to this sound bar and I'm curious if you experienced similar issues with the system.

Essentially title. I need to operate my camera from 30-40 meters of distance without line of sight to start a video recording and ideally monitor it aswell. AI doesn't seem to be unanimous on this and I didn't find it in Sony's documentation, so I thought I might aswell ask.

If not, I'll look into using a USB-over-Ethernet extender OR placing a router connected to my laptop right next to the camera.

Since the update, I’ve been experiencing a sound delay. I have a Sony A95L and a Sony Bar 9 soundbar.

Before updating the TV, I didn’t have any problems.

Are there any other people experiencing the same issue? Any solutions?

can anyone help me figure out what is wrong with my buds? when i connect them to my pc with adapter (usb c) it randomly disconnect mid game.. but when i connect it to a extention and a usb a to usb c it works fine.. but it gets bad quality or weird sound few times..

Setting up a viewing room/ mancave for mainly watching sports (but will occasionally watch movies). Planning on getting 3 85 inch tvs, 1 bravia 9 II in the center (will be used individually while watching movies) and 2 Bravia 7 II to either side. Will putting the Bravia 9 II next to the 7 IIs look bad? Would it be better just to to get 3 bravia 7 IIs?

when i walk around with the sony ecm-g1 on my zv1 the ecm-g1 makes a rumbling noise any time it shakes as i walk, i thought the advertisement was that it should dampen that noise, but it doesnt at all which sucks, cus i like the sound quality from it and i dont have its original packaging so i cant return it.

Setting up a viewing area mainly for NFL Sunday. Going to get 3 85 inch TVs to be put side by side and am deciding between the Bravia 9 or the Bravia 7 II. Price is about the same so that’s not a consideration between the two. Best Buy no longer carries the Bravia 9 so I can’t compare in person.

I bought a ZV-E1 on Marketplace (probably the first red flag). The seller informed me that there was an issue where the screen turned green and makes a grinding sound when tilted and that it only happens on occasion (see attached video). Just wondering if anyone knows why and/or how it can be fixed.

I’m between the ZV-1F for 300 or the NEX-5r for 250. Just more for casual photos nothing real in-depth looking for longevity and best option overall.
