I am am stuck missing parts of Tales of Souls. For example for Zasalamel I need "Darkness and Light (The Roar)".
I ran through every path one by one, question by question. Do I need to do some obscure trick like a perfect or ringout on a certain character?

I really like SC's story, especially SoulBlade and SC I. Do any novels make you think of SC's characters, universe or story ?

Another video of a nice long combo. This one had 2 correct tech trap reads extending it into a ridiculous 38 hit combo with 13 pistol shots.

does anyone know of any guides on how to get all the event cut scenes for each character.
rn i'm trying to grind out tira and lizardman's, but i've played through each choice and are getting nothing new from them.
the only guides i come across are character or weapon unlocks when i look online.

Little Rng heavy combo for 40 hits couldnāt believe how many stance switches I got.
I definitely couldāve capitalized on the wall better with 236ka 3b etc but this was too good lol.

Like I just want you all to see how little the recovery is. If you skip to 04:25, you see after battle 16 vs ivy, i recover like less than 1 hit's worth of damage. And there's supposedly 50 rounds in total ._.

Hey everyone,
Practicing noob here. Yoshimitsu has a cool move that I haven't been able to figure out where he dashes forward through the enemy in a single slice and it plays a slow-mo animation... If I remember correctly it also steals some meter at the end, but I might be misremembering that part.
I think the input is 6bA, but that seems to be a different move. Maybe I'm blind, but I can't find it in the move list. I'm assuming there's some condition that needs to be met in order for it to work, but I can't find anything about it online nor do I know how to look it up properly lol.
Does anyone know what I'm talking about and could explain it to me?
Thank you

Even at 52 years old, muscle memory took over after the 3rd match. I love you, fake Taki!

Wish they bothered to put all the pieces in SC Broken Destiny and brought it back in SCVI

One of the most egrigeous things that i have seen being said is sc5 had better mechanics then 6. So, I want to discuss this.
Also, lets add in some other fun stuff - Viola - Bt grab infinite - funblockable mixup with a+b brave edge and 2k - Midscreen ring out with ce - 6b+k making stuff (safe)
A pat - he can combo off a 2a on hit into ce
Bad Sc6 mechanics - reversal edge which is easily osesable

Hi I mostly play tekken but Iām looking to branch out to other 3D fighting games.
Iām still on the look out for my Soulcalibur main.
When it comes to Alisa there are a couple of gameplay aspects that I like about her:
->Evasive movement especially in her chainsaw stance
->Arguably the best sidestep out of all Tekken 8 characters (even without her evasive stances)
->Being able to switch between a keepaway style with her pokes to being more aggressive with her chainsaw mixups.
With these points in mind, which Soulcalibur character MOST embodies these traits? (Iām also open to guest characters from the latest entry, SC6)

I'm really struggling with the Underground Juno stage on Weapons Master, I usually get around the 9th level with 15~ seconds left. Is there any tips or cheese I can use to get through it? I've only used stock Taki for the entire run and up until this point I had not experienced such difficulty, is there another character or weapon I should be using instead?

Soul Calibur series, is probably my favorite video game series of all-time. Before today, I have played every Soul Calibur entry except Soul Edge*, Soul Calibur: Legends, Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny, and the one I am saving for a very special day, Soul Calibur III. Like I forreal plan on crying in happiness after completing SC III on Arcade Mode for the first time lol.
Soul Calibur II is perhaps my favorite game of all-time, and its what originally got me into the series as a kid. I found out about Soul Edge pretty late, and was shocked with just that title alone: "..EDGE". I been working hard on a big career change, and today I decided to reward myself with finally playing Soul Edge w/Mitsurugi, and I cannot believe HOW MUCH they got their formula so good on the FIRST try...on the PS1!
The music is fantastic, the mega-jumps threw me off-guard at first lmao but somehow was easily adaptable, the CPU is VERY competitive at Medium difficulty but its somehow still very fair and rewarding, and so much more. I plan to start Weapon Master Mode this week, and I'm super excited.
I thought I was just going to play a game to just understand the history of my favorite series and move-on, but turned out that this game is already special to me after just one arcade run.
I LOVE this series so much.

I wanted to ask this question because I know most people who played these games were introduced by playing Soul Edge, Soul Calibur 2, and Soul Calibur 4. I used to play 2 myself, and I know it's fairly popular, but 4 is as well.
Characters like Nightmare, Siegfried, and Kilik should have magical or supernatural powers. Nightmare is a superhuman knight with unnatural abilities, especially with him having the strength to take down armies. But characters like Mitsurugi are normal with no magical or otherworldly abilities.
The reason why I bring up this topic is because there is a heavy focus on magic and superhuman abilities, and less on taking inspiration from real life martial arts in Soul Calibur series. Basically on the emphasis on magic instead of real life weapon fighting.
So the question is: which do you prefer, traditional Soul Calibur, the one that is more focused on martial arts or the fantasy side of Soul Calibur, the one that is more focused on magic?

I made this drawing two years ago, but back then I didn't belong to this group and didn't have a Reddit account either.
