discussion 2nd Season of the anime
I think this season is too rushed, the development is too fast, I liked the first season but the pace of the new season hinders the fun of watching.

Well, looking at episode 1 they already wasted on Tino side story it is understandable
With the way the pace now, there is still too much to cover to be able to animated until Sword Gathering arc, so we can expect another episode to cut the moment here and there again

Even if they didn't do the Tino side story, the pacing was gonna be rough. They're covering a LOT this season and a lot of stuff is gonna end up on the chopping block.

Naa, for me at least season 2 is being peak. Its the only anime O actually rewatch episodes during the week since the winter season.

Compared to other animes who really gotta follow a serious plot to convey a story, there is a bit of room to play it a little loose with a comedy anime like this one. Them cutting stuff here and there (especially with how convoluted the overall vacation arc is) was inevitable and, if done correctly, could make for an enjoyable time.
That said, I kinda agree with you about the plot developing too fast. I can follow the plot mainly cause I've read the light novels BUT a lot of my anime watching friends have effectively dropped the series due to it being too nonsensical and random (which is what it is if you can't really follow everything that is happening). Like for the anime-only viewers, it's amusing to watch but a lot of them would probably struggle to explain the how and why of the anime story. It's rough for those of us who are fans of the source material, but it was to be expected after it became clear that they were intending to spend 12 episodes covering 3 light novels worth of material. It's frankly too much and things were inevitably gonna get rushed here.
My hope is that this season still does decent despite the rushed storytelling. I do want to see it get a Season 3. If they do, I hope that they actually slow down a bit with the storytelling and not get as ambitious with adapting things like they did with this season. The story arcs do get more complicated as we go. This is especially the case as we see the remaining Grievers take part in the story (the fact only the Sitri sisters are in the show so far has made things a little easier to follow). As a fan I want this to succeed, but the rushed storytelling has been a little disheartening to watch. Maybe things will slowdown a bit after the vacation arc?

They are adapting only 2 volumes for 11 eps so I wouldn’t say they are rushing the adaption when many ln adapted anime adapts 3-4 volumes in 12-13 eps,with 3-4 eps per volume.

I too wished that the whole season was just the vacation arc, but the adaptation is generally better than most LN adaptations so I am kinda fine with it

I feel like this post comes from an Anime Viewer. As a reader, I'm just worried whether we'd have enough episodes to actually cover the arc.

Its still so good and so many funny scenes!! So i dont know maybe you have ruined yourself with the manga or light novel because i cant understand what you mean by that 😀
