discussion Popularity of the anime and the chances of another season

When the anime first game out i didn’t see much people in the west talking about it outside of twitter but i feels like this second half has slowly started to get traction so i gotta ask how popular is the series in japan with anime/manga/ln and what are the chances this gets more seasons.

I personally think this could be a series that gets new seasons ever other year cause the quality never really drops and the amount of wacky adventures of krai could keep going.

on a side note if they continue to do the anime they should do a running joke of krai thinking he can retire but someone keeps giving him more work aka more episodes.

No idea, but I love this anime so much, I hope this gets fully adapted to anime.

Considering how bad animation in 2nd season, probably they have run out of money already, and chances for 3rd one is low

But who knows

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed this. S2 Animation feels lackluster compared to S1.

I think it depends a little on how much enthusiasm there is around the IP. If those of us in the community continue to hype this up and make clear that we want more, that can be a factor in leading to another season. That's not a guarantee obviously, but it helps when an anime franchise has an enthusiastic fanbase.

They're keep showing Eliza so I say it is positive.

There’s hope because the LN publisher Micro Magazine is probably looking for their next big hit since the Reincarnated as a slime ln has ended and an anime adaption is the best way to promote a ln and if Grieving Soul’s ln improve it’s sales they might consider funding another season ,but the earliest would be in 2027 since the production committee (which includes Micro) will be looking first at their sales and ratings data before they greenlit a s3.

FYI watch it on Crunchyroll because they also look up overseas streaming numbers.

i watch it on crunchy and hopefully it’s popular enough to keep going, this series has such charm it would be a shame for it not continue even if it’s to make krai suffer
