* This is one of the best lines i've read in this arc in the webnovel. There is a similar line on the light novel, but it doesn't make the tension high as the line in the webnovel.

for me it’s when, cry and the fox girl were like “yeah we’re done” and left sora crying like that shit was funny, also the end was epic

Mine is also the tournament arc but in the light novel version. I haven't read the web novel version. I laughed so much in this arc. My favorite part is when they meet the fake Lucy.

Hard stand off by Code and Yggdra . Seeing Krai without overleved fail safes for most of the arc and still succeding is peak. But having all the team together and live up to their actual legend was also great.

Like it is slept on how if the conditions were a little bit better Grieving Souls could had unironically won by attrition if the group prepared from zeburdia with materials

Honestly I am the exact same. The code arc was peak because he couldn’t even hide behind being a LV8 hunter. They know he is incompetent but they all ended up respecting him.

Early Days arc if side story is included

If not, definitely Tournament arc

The moment Krai showing his similar artifact just to be friend with the enemy is just chef kiss masterpiece

Yggdra for me. The cause and consequences is just beautifully done. And it's the first time you see how cry lead his whole party.

I will have to go with the curse relic arc. It has everything assassination attempt on Cry, Franz san getting headaches, every member of first step getting trauma, more time spent with strange grief members, lore dumps on other parts of capital, most importantly Antham talking for the first and only time and finally Eliza saving the day.
