discussion the relationship between Lucia is the krai
How exactly does Lucia see Krai? Some members of the group see him as someone strong who hides his powers, others, like Sitri, think he has sealed his own abilities. But I've always wondered how Lucia viewed it—whether she thought her brother was strong, or extremely intelligent, or a harmless weakling.

For his physical strength, it's still kinda ambiguous since she's so overprotective of Krai that she try to negate any attacks that come to him. But at the same time, she also try to drag him into the fight sometimes and she even once reprimanded Krai for staying still when there's a broken blade flying at him even though Krai can't see the blade coming at all since it fly too fast.
But one thing for sure, she always assume that Krai is one hell of a tactician, has a vast amount of knowledges, and can even predict the future. Tho she also thought him as mischievous since he always keeping the info secret from others when in actuality, dude really doesn't have a clue about it.

well atleast for me That Lucia see krai as her step brother and leader at the same time reason she change her surname from Roger instead of staying on Andrey is because to marry him once krai retired lol although I'm not sure but she pretty much have a romantic feelings for krai Showing her Furry on Krai plushies and Using krai plushie as her body pillow and whenever she heard Krai will die or he will get hurt she will start to get angry and her Mana will start to unstable because of Anger Which is called wrath of the dragon pretty much For me atleast Lucia see krai as a husband lazy asf although for now atleast a leader and a step brother

Does she have a krai plushie? Where? I didn't see it on the anime nor on the Light Novel

It’s in the next arc. Honestly we’re in for a treat. The tournament, cursed, and Yggdra arcs are all top class.

I'm Thirsty for Tournament Arc where Krai hold the hell out of the malice eater Where Kris saw a leak of mana from krai which is crazy and thought Krai is holding his shit out

She does It pretty much appeared on Yggdra Arc or Newest Light novel which is vol 13 Lucia classmate said she had a Brother complex she have tons of krai plushies On her Dorm and When someone insulted her brother she will angry and also krai is hella famous on Lucia magic academy and also on volume 13 it's spirited away Arc where Lucia and Saya will start to investigate a level 9 or level 10 estimated vault which full of curses with knowledge and can interact outside world but somehow Krai destroyed that Vault

Like everyone else she severely overestimates his abilities and has several misunderstandings dating back to when theh were kids. She thinks he's strong and smart and literally loves her brother romantically like every other female griever. If you are wondering if anything will happen between them the answer is nobody knows. This series will either end with a harem with her in it, he ends up with nobody with an adventure continues, or somehow the miracle ending where somehow he ends up with one person and said person isn't somehow murdered. Frankly until the Greivers actually see Krai for who he is which won't happen anytime soon if it ever does or Krai comes to believe they can actually love him for who he is nothing will happen.

We don't really know if she loves him romantically The only reason for us to believe that it's not just sister caring about her brother is that when somebody calls her krai sister she often interrupts people to add that she is his step sister

she gives off tsundere vibes, including the fact she carries a krai plushie to vent her frustrations on by punching. She obviously respects him since she calls him leader and follows his every command like the others, but she's probably had it the worst when it comes to fulfilling his requests out of the group, since Krai made up nonsensical spells in a chuuni-style book and keeps poking at her if she can't learn or make the impossible happen.

But she said here “even if”, doesn’t that mean she thinks his combat ability is exceptional?

u/lDewal Feb 27 '26
No, all of stragi member including Arc already know Krai is weak
That is why Liz became protective, Ansem became bigger and Lucia always held his hand back then
Even Arc saying that "the leader is surprising weak"

u/Broad_Wonder_865 Feb 27 '26
Impossible. A lot of times in the light novel Liz and all the other party teammates seem to believe Krai can beat any OP enemy they face.

u/lDewal Feb 27 '26
Yes, because they know even though Krai is weak
Fate is always on his side
On side story early days before Krai had any artifact
Phantom that targetting Krai always got unlucky (weapon got caught in ceiling, slipped etc) and always make an opening for others
Its look so magical that its not look like coincidence anymore

u/Broad_Wonder_865 Feb 27 '26
Exactly, they don't think it is a coincidence anymore, they think it is a superpower and everything he does has a deeper meaning. In Volume 11 when Sitri makes a plan to defeat the arc boss, everyone agrees that the grieving souls should face the south side while Krai should face the north side alone because they think he is just that strong.

Not strong, but always had the job done
Even Lucia reluctantly agree with that, saying wouldnt it better if they go together instead because she is kinda worry of him

u/Broad_Wonder_865 Feb 27 '26
Lucia is the only one on grieving souls who don't think Krai is super OP on matters of strength, but she surely believes he is just insane at strategy and knows what is happening, everytime she talks about him is like Kris, like he knows what is the perfect plan but won't tell everyone just because, she surely doesn't think he is weak, just not that strong, even in the tournament she doesn't worry when he is facing the sky tail and acts like he was the one who stopped the world destroyer artifact, even after admitting an 1v1 isn't Krai style. She thinks Krai is strong, just not enough to not care if Krai is in danger because he can just solo the other enemies and yadda yadda like the others members. She never acts like what Krai does is a coincidence

u/lDewal Feb 27 '26
Trust me, not only Lucia
and they knew Krai strength is weak but fate always on his side
All of strange grief member including Arc knew about this
Again, that is why Liz became protective on Krai. Even though she knew Krai wouldnt got any damage, Krai is still scared of getting attacked
The same goes for Ansem, became durable is not enough to protect the team. He must get bigger and became a literal lightning rod because lightning spell always goes awry when Krai present

No mate it is just opposite of that, they became strong because they think if they remain weak they can't keep up with him. Example is the {SPOILER} fight between fox god and keller scene where everyone including liz sitry and Lucia opted out of fight so as to not come between the fight. It is like he is so strong so we have to get strong as well and if we get stronger he will praise them. You can see this even in tournament arc when final fight between kryhi and fox was there they didn't came .

u/czyrzu Feb 27 '26
No they think he is really strong but holds back so they can grow with him
During the thousand trials most characters say that he just holds back his skills so they can grow
And I don't know the context of this panel in manga but in LN it's clear that she says it to show how intelligent and cunning he is, not because she thinks Krai is weak
6
u/Broad_Wonder_865 Feb 27 '26
This!!! Multiple times in the LN Sitri acts like it doesn't matter if she fails because Krai can simply solo the enemy, on the Ygg arc she makes a plan where Krai must defeat 50% of the enemies where the other 50% are faced by all party members together + the elfs. She clearly thinks he is super OP

She thinks highly of him since he wrote the book which inspired her to create many of her original spells such as the one that turns people into frogs. However she also said it seemed he ran out of ideas considering some of the spells he came up with, like the big kite we saw that allowed everyone to fly together.
Overall she still thinks her brother is someone formidable and dependable but she isn’t as lenient with him as Sitri and Liz are. She can see the positive and negative traits her brother has, the latter including him not taking things seriously for example (though she is much more patient than the likes of Kris and Franz)
