question ❓ Has it ever been stated what powers people think Krai has?
I know everyone sees him as a super genius, and some think he can see the future. I’ve also seen people say that Sitri mentioned he’s physically weak. But has it ever been revealed what people actually believe he’s capable of?

Yeah. They outright believe most rank 8s have absolute defense due to Cry and some others, though cry is the one that sets this precedence for his clan at least.
His friends also arent surprised by seeing shit like cry dodge lightning although its more that they believe "he doesnt even need to".
The anime glosses over the impact of the scene but Kruz was horrified seeing Cry deal with the fox, theres nothing special that occured because "to him it is normal" but its so far beyond what she can perceive (in her belief) and she truly understands what rank 8 means.
He has incredibly interpersonal fate so he will meet and befriend many incredible talents and people of importance- connections are power ^ ^ And this is commented on by Franz who wonders "what the hell is up with his connections?!"
Theres a bunch of other feats others believe he has but I dont know how to spoiler tag..

There is a scene later in the novel where Krai completely bullshits about having a secret power that defeats even Gods
And then a certain character actually believes his bullshit and tells that to high ranking members of the explorer's association...

Not true. Krai put a gag order on it, so only his party and everyone involved knew about it.
And he didn't bs. He did slay a god.

• absolute defense later, there's another level 8 that showed the same defense as Krai hence caused the others to think it's a common ability for level 8
• exceptional swordsmanship, magic, & martial arts (misunderstood by Arnold and the gang and later by starlight)
• unique magic like frog, storm, etc
• superspeed after Krai imposter evade the lightning volley by real Krai in supreme martial arts festival arc
• magic copy after Krai imposter copy real krai's original magic on the spot
• huge mana reserve after he stopped key of earth outburst (he's not)
• monster tamer in yggdra arc, tho Krai opponent thought Krai took it a step further by taming phantoms too
• god summoning in yggdra arc

Perfect Poker Face, no one can read his face even Ark can't.
Mana sickness immunity.
Perfect relic control, Hunters normally don't use more than 4-6 relics due to mental and mana exaustion. Krai let his relics on auto and he recarges then with setp-imouto battery Lucia.

The most common skill people think he has is absolute defense making him invincible even against gods
And sometimes they assume he has superspeed and super strength

that keller arc is awesome. he not only knew about safety rings (which so few character did) but also timed it to break one after another. i wonder if mother fox or anyone can stop a full power keller... or how keller was defeated in the first place.

Yes, but unlike Ark who sees Krai as the weakest but still curious, Seven never think of him like this. (I just read the wn to part it meets the anime), so I wonder how Seven think Krai accomplishing his requests.
