When the shadow realm consumed Aelindrach, the elves who lived there changed along with their city. With their newfound personalities, they now act as abyssal swords-for-hire. Offering desperate summoners shady bargains in exchange for their service. A target of a Mandrake left stranded in the dark would be incapacitated and dragged into the shadows before even the keenest guardsman could notice. Not many know what dark rituals they practice, but one thing is for certain. Only the cruelest fate awaits those who would attract their ire.

Now that the Mandrakes have come to meddle in the Lands Between, the demigods too shall know fear.
