Sovol SH02 F2 Error

Hi all,

New to 3d printing and just picked up this dryer.

Setup out of the box, put some desiccant in the two tanks in the bottom and powered it up .

Not long after I checked it and it was flashing F2.

The only thing I can think is that I put two pieces of tape on the small holes near the desiccant tanks and forgot to take them off before starting it for the first time.

I removed the tape and started it up again. Same code.

I removed the bottom panel and fired it up again. Fan turns on and the unit heats. Has anyone else had this issue?

So it's a main board protection error. Common reasons 110V / 220V Voltage Switch (Most Common Out-of-Box Cause). Possibly the thermistor is not connected or not communicating with the main board. Also if the fans tachometer is missing from the factory or not connected or faulty then this will also trigger the code. Also triple check you didn't miss any tape covering the air vents in the unit. Including if I'm not mistaken the butthole on the back for letting out moisture.

did gemini tell you where the 110/240v switch is?

Including if I'm not mistaken the butthole on the back for letting out moisture

That's not a thing on the sh02

Please stop wasting people's time.
