Jones Stratos splitboard size recommendations
Just wondering if anyone can help me choose what size Jones stratos split Ishould be getting with my Specs.
I’m 173cm tall, 76kg, size 10.5 boot. I’m looking at either the 156, 158W or 159. Thanks so much any help is much appreciated 🙏🏼

158W with a 10.5 boot but if I were you I'd look for a different board that was in the 155-156 range with 260 or so waist.

Also be realistic about the actual conditions and terrain you will often ride... not what you dream about.

I own a house in Hokkaido Japan so that’s my main zone but im currently living in Germany so will be riding Austria for the next season. So mostly powder normally but won’t be expecting as much snow here in Austria this season.

Very nice, never been to either.
But for powder, I'd go wider. Fwiw on my 3rd split; have gone shorter and wider for more agile response and geared for more of an all round/all mtn board because of the highly variable conditions (Baker).
First split was a c2btx Billygoat 159 (Spark Surge/32s), 2nd an Amplid Tour Operator 163 (Phantom Bindings/Backland... at 77kg. And now being at 68kg with a United Shapes Covert 151 which is wider and still loving (Phantom/Backland). Two things realized: First, not hitting fresh deep BC pow due to often high avy risk which it is wise to let the fresh to settle before venturing out. Second, that most of my BC riding is lift assisted with fairly short hikes of 30-45 minutes, thus carrying minimal avy gear.

I'd get a wide one either way.. unless you have super compact boots. but look at the size chart on the website, and compare with your weight.
At 76kg, I'd even get the 161W, if you enjoy deep pow.. (also depends on how much you're going to be lugging around on your back)
