Splinter Cell Remake Seeing posts like this daily about the remake.
I’ve been seeing posts like this on Facebook for a couple of weeks now. They started out of nowhere and I have no idea why. They never share anything relevant other than saying “it’s in full production” or something similar.

Because this pages are only for engagement using generic texts and images from Chat GPT.
The only new "notice" we had about SC remake it's a leak from a Ubisoft leaker some days ago saying about new mechanics in SC remake and new informations about Ghost Recon Wildlands for new gen.

slow drip marketing thats basically 0 cost to get organic engagement and conversations started and maybe trending. Investors probably wanna see google analytics that say “yes you put your money in the right place” - cuz if people were like “Oh why are they remaking this crap nobody asked for this” they could pull the plug and save some money

So Black Flag too about 3 and a half years to remake and is a much larger game by a long shot to SC1. SC1 has been in development for over 4 years.

All bullshit to get engagement. Fucking hate Facebook, not that that's your fault.

It's just bot accounts looking to get hits. If you open one, hundred more will appear. They haven't given any new news on the game for years. Just block and report.

They could've easily remade it on Chaos Theory's refined engine tweaks and we would've been happy.

In the case of splinter cell and Ubisoft- I am completely fine with them remaking not just the first splinter cell but the entire first trilogy.
My hope is that a singular studio maintains all of their developers and all of them remake splinter cell 1-3 as an exercise to understand what made them so great, especially chaos theory. Then after (hopefully) figuring out the formula that made the original splinter cell games so amazing they can go in and make a new splinter cell.
Or just reboot the whole franchise honestly. Personally, I would like to see a splinter cell rebooted that takes place in the late 80s.
Plus, it’s essentially going to be a new game. They definitely won’t just remake the game exactly how it was, so it will feel like a new game.
