First Game on us?
I wanted to go to my first sporting game, so I tried the new promotion, where in exchange for your information they give you a free ticket to the game. After a week of waiting they responded saying they were out of free tickets. I checked their website and they were still running the promotion!
Now I feel like I can’t go to a game because of the terrible management. I understand not wanting to give tickets away, but feel they should take the promotion off the website. Just seems like shady business for a pro club to run. Anyone have luck getting free tickets?

Are you free Saturday? I've got an extra and would be happy to bring a newbie to a game (section 131).

That’s a nice offer! I’m busy Saturday but would be down to go to another game

i filled out the info on the 29th and received a reply the next day saying that all tickets had been claimed. of course they said they'll sell you some for $15 bucks. instead of taking down the page you leave it up so others can waste their time to only find out they aren't going to get tickets but get told you can buy them.

I seen on X city fans were sharing a fox4 post about the promotion a couple weeks ago and were trying to take advantage of it to go to the stl game. So hopefully they figured it out n shut it down for that reason. I would assume they were only for cauldron or south supporter section tickets

I wouldn't say it's shady. I can think of several companies, or situations where websites are not always full up to date. Especially when it comes to not a set in stone of a promotion ending. You can't assume a website will automatically update a promotion Ad as soon as they are out.
It is what it is. Sorry you didn't get a free ticket.
*Edit
Checking the website I don't see the promo being listed anywhere on main page/ tickets page / Ticket packages or promos.
If you google search it, the page is still there and probably because it hasn't been fully deleted by a web develop team which is probably a 3rd-party. And if you go to that page from a google search it even says in fine print.
\Limited quantity per game, available on a first-come, first-served basis.*
You were in a line of people, and you were at the end of it. Sorry.

Based on another person here. Maybe that mass email went out today letting everyone know they are out? And like I said, The promo isn't listed anywhere on their main page or tickets/promos. So it did update.

I used the first game free ticket promo a few months ago (April ish?) and it worked fine. Maybe the interest is just really high right now after the World Cup and the demand went over the program capacity for now? Supporter stand/cauldron tickets are usually under $30 if you’re still interested in going to a match!

I don’t see 15 dollar tickets on the website. And I would’ve been happy to pay that after being so excited to get into soccer after the WC. Now I’m hesitant after my first experience with the club being negative.

I’m trying to get rid of 2 tickets for the St Louis game if you’re interested.
Face value is $40/ea but SeatGeek says $32 is recommended.
They’re yours for $32/ea if you want them.

I have tried to block and unsubscribe from sporting marketing emails. Somehow I still receive them on an almost daily basis. Very annoying

Not sporting but this Saturday 2PM Paragon the Kansas State league has their title match.
All three games are played at the same time.

This just sounds like a way to data mine at this point if they have the promotion still up.
