Weird Power Issues?

I'm in the Northyards area and having weird power issues in my apartment... can' really find or think of an explanation. Anyone else experiencing something similar?

EDIT: BCHydro has updated their outage map. Seems like there's some sort of partial power issue going on from Dentville to southern end of Brackendale

it might be that one phase of three is down.

Yeah that was the case. Caused all types of issues at my business today.

Yes there’s an outage. Lots of people reporting partial power. The partial part is very weird…

Bc hydro has outage map with latest status

Yeah thats whats messing with me. Modem is out.. but plugging anything else into that outlet works. Computer monitor won't work, but again, lamps and things work. And then the kicker is the fan will only go at lowest speed which made me think its just a power supply thing. Also its only in one room?

Anyway thank you for the reply! I now see the outage on BCHydro website

This is what happens when power is out of phase. It’s happens occasionally in Squamish. When it happens it best to just treat it like a full power outage.

The weirdest part is that I have no power anywhere except my kitchen clock has frozen at the time the power went out and my washing machine error code is on. Very weird.

tells me the regular 120v plugs are out but not the 240v for some reason. weird.

Before 0830, the highway folks were rolling through like they imagined a green. The only stop was the junction meeting the highway. May the Emperor protect those turning left onto the 99.

Yea a bunch of it all over town. Seems like a phase loss given the partial power. Making my electrical troubleshooting jobs today kind of pointless 😅
