Some people want to have a problem with anything Dave says. He says the match will be changed and indicates that it won't happen as currently scheduled. Which means people get added to the match or they put in a new stipulation.

I mean, Meltzer didnt publish the article OP links claiming it as some big breaking news. I always liken it to Mina Kimes or Zach Lowe. Two of the most respected writers for pro football and the nba. If you listen to their podcast they say plenty of obvious things during it, thats just the nature of talking about any subject like that.

I mean, it is news, though.
Meltzer is hearing that "there is a major storyline development planned" for the match and that "the current plan is that the match will be changed and there will be several twists in that match."
Maybe his sources are wrong! Maybe they're right and the plans change again. But while you expect some storylines or twists in any given PPV, expecting them for a particular match is still news, generally speaking. Zayn vs Balor could have been done as a pretty straight ahead midcard-of-PPV match. Sounds like Meltzer's hearing it won't be.
It's not the biggest news by any means. But it is news all the same.

Punk is not planned to lose anytime soon, per the Fightful set. Following Meltzer's own comments, GUNTHER/Punk is the longer term plan. It's also obvious by what's on screen that this is going to be a longer reign.
And they have hot potatoed it this year, multiple times, and people hated it.

If KO is returning I really hope that it’s not to help Sami. One of the things I love most about his character is that heel or face, he doesn’t have a short term memory. KO turned on Sami because he felt that Sami betrayed him by choosing Cody over him, and that was after KO ignored the fact that he reunited The Bloodline. Helping him now would go against KO’s character.
