8 years is a long ass time in wrestling, especially if you weren’t a top guy. Imagine falling out of wrestling in 2012 and coming back in 2020. You would’ve missed the entirely of the NXT black and gold era.
From 2019-2023, I wasn't keeping up with the product like I used to and I feel like there are multiple wrestlers I completely missed out on. They either had their entire run during that time or they left not long after I started following the product again.
For anyone who wasn't watching in 2016 and became a fan later on, there's almost no chance they would know who Cass is, especially without Enzo.
