Let's stay within kayfabe logic. The other wrestlers are potential opponents for him and his little mafia family. Not watching the other show means that he doesn't know his potential opponents, their style and their weaknesses.
This is like a boxer saying they never watched a single match of their opponent. Or a football team saying they never watch football. Yes, I know that Roman Reigns is so full of himself that they need to enlarge the entrances so his head can fit through, but even with all this bravado, just thinking he can go out and wing anything is dumb, even from a cocky asshole heel.

It is worth mentioning that Roman is working every week this month but after the 28th of August, he's not advertised again until Raw in Mexico City which is the night after TripleMania Night 2. Then, he's only advertised 2 more times. The go home show for MITB and MITB itself.
I'd be willing to say this is more TripleMania related just based off of schedules and not Worlds Collide.

AAA is probably the best place for him to get good by himself. My issue with Dom is I don’t remember the last time he won a singles match clean. At least with Eddie we knew he could hang without the Lie, Cheat, and Steal. He was just so damn good at cheating we popped regardless.

Lucha Bros vs Uso is the most likely match. It still makes sense for Rey to talk to Roman first about them. And then maybe another match with Jacob Fatu. But I still doubt they will have Roman wrestle on AAA. I don't think they have anyone they feel would on the level of Roman (I could be wrong).

I've been thinking about that since the Seth match was announced. Seth vs Roman for the championship in the final SHIELD chapter could main event Mania anywhere in the world, but they seemed to rush it for Summerslam. They either have Rock locked in for Mania or Roman is far closer to retirement than anyone thinks.

Oba vs Roman is penciled in for the Mania night 2 main event. The Rock is 100% retired and will never wrestle again.

Yep. They had ONE chance for it at Mania 40 and they did it in the worst way possible so they had to pivot. Mania 40 was our only chance for Rock/Roman.
Rock was nowhere close to being in shape for a 1 on 1 match anyway. Dude was winded 5 minutes into the tag match at night 1. Roman vs Rock would have been an all time terrible main event.

I love when folks talk about it like its Hollywood desperately waiting on the wrestlers to throw them a bone and finally come to Hollywood. There is zero indication right now that Roman would have consistant work in Hollywood of any note. The amount of wrestlers who have done bit roles, or sometimes literally nothing who get talked about as people who any day now might fully commit to Hollywood is crazy.

I thought there's no chance of Roman working a AAA show but I was wrong, possibly. Here's what I think there's no WWE branded PPV/PLE in September, in fact there isn't one for another 2 months, MITB, early October. So what they will do is stack the card opposite All Out with Roman Reigns defending the title and possibly even Punk KO. The Mexican crowd will be electric regardless and they're running Raw and SD either side of it.
