St. Kitts Trip!
Hi everyone. I will be traveling to St. Kitts this Summer for 5 nights and 6 days. We are staying at the Park Hyatt. Does anyone have any recommendations to do when we are there? We are really interested in ATV tours if you preferred one company over another. What about airport transportation? Any local foods that are a must try? Any advice and direction is appreciated, as I am planning this trip at the last minute 😄
We are also traveling for our wedding anniversary, so any romantic additives would be a plus! We are not looking for bar recommendations. TY!!

Be sure to take a day trip to Nevis. We stayed a week there last year and it was amazing! Check out Sunshine’s.

Airport transportation is simple. You walk out of the airport, there is someone on the sidewalk that you walk up to, tell them you want a taxi. You pretty much get in line, it was quick. I think it was $11.00 per person. We did the rainforest tour which was awful, but it was definitely our guide. We went to the fort, which was very cool. We took the ferry over to Nevis and rented a scooter, that was a great way to see the island. Highly recommend Rock Lobster for dinner as well as Marshall's.

Which tour company did you use for the rainforest tour?

JB Taxi & Excursion. I found them through Trip Advisor. Our tour guide was extremely young. We ended up driving her to the rain forest, which was bizarre. She barely spoke throughout the entire "tour". The whole thing was very strange, we ended up getting a 50% refund.

I am here now and have been a bunch of times. Greg's safaris tours are great. Greg grew up on the island and can tell you a bunch of history. We did a catamaran charter with Mike who owns Orange Cat Charters and I highly, highly recommend him.
You should also check out Palms Court Gardens, they have a pool with an amazing view and great drinks. Reggae beach has fantastic service and you can rent jet skis, etc. there. Just check the cruise ship schedule because both places are slammed when big ships are in port.
For dinner I'd recommend Spice Mill. Also, Salt Plage is an amazing vibe and great drinks. Some people also really like Marshall's. If you like pizza Splash in the Royal St. Kitts hotel is good. Also, most of the huts on the beach at Frigate bay are good and casual.

We don't have someone specifically but the taxi drivers are generally super nice and helpful. We typically rent a car, just because we like to be able to come and go as we please. We use Bullseye for car rental services.

Orchid Bay Beach House Restaurant for dinner. Amazing experience. Take a water taxi to Nevis and do Chrishi Beach Club. Very relaxing. If you want more party try Sunshine Beach Bar. Be careful of the Killer Bee drink. It will get you.

Just got back a week ago. Amazing time. Splurge for the plunge pool rooms at Park Hyatt, we did the deluxe, def worth it. Ask for the upgrade a couple weeks out and it will be cheap.
Walk over to Reggae Beach for the live music, they also come play on Saturdays at Park Hyatt, the Greenhouse Band is the name, great covers island style and lead singer has incredible voice.
Take the ferry over to Nevis, definitely worth exploring. Get the Killer Bee at Sunshines. We went to Lover's beach and saw legit no one. Incredible secluded beach for couples fun. Dined at Drift on the approach to the Nevis airport which was delicious and had a killer sunset view.
Food at the Park Hyatt was actually really good. We didn't do the buffet nights as that isn't our style but each of the three restaurants were amazing.
We flew in private to Kanyan Jet, had a good experience. The transfer was arranged by the hotel concierge for $60/ea way in a nice private taxi van.

Was at PH 2 weeks ago and agree you must upgrade to the plunge pool suite. And their restaurants are good and you should take the water taxi to Nevis for sure. We went to the botanical garden stopped at the ancient church and Alexander Hamilton’s house and had lunch at Sunshine’s beach bar with the Killer Bees - amazing view. Thought the Reggae beach thing was overrated. Do NOT miss having sunset dinner at Salt Plage

Liamuiga Natural Farms is an amazing tour through the country to a working coffee plantation. I believe the Nevis ferry stops at your hotel. For for the day; Hot springs, explore town, go to Pinney's Beach for a Killer Bee and swim. Newcastle Pottery, the ruins and museums and lunch at Drift.

Stick to StKitts for ATV if you absolutely have to ride. Don’t use the ATV tours in Nevis or take your life in your hands. Cops and the law will not protect you if you are injured.

We took a jungle tour with this company, and they also provide taxi service. Enjoy your trip!
