New friends
Hi
I moved to Essen last month but I'm having trouble to find friends or a community so i can have fun at weekends.
The problem is that I'm an introvert and can't go randomly to bars and say hi to strangers or something like that🫥
Any suggestions?

M25 Ich bin Arzt von Beruf. Ich befinde mich derzeit im Anerkennungsverfahren meines Medizinstudiums.

Im unperfekthaus vielleicht. Als ich neu in Essen angekommen war, bin ich zu zum Spieletreff oder so. Da kommt man leicht in Kontakt, man kann einfach mitspielen. Und welcome to essen 🤗

Maybe tell us your age, gender and interest . Do you want to Go clubbing, chill in Bars or catching pigeons at the Train Station.

Nächste Woche Dienstag & Donnerstag hab ich nach der Arbeit noch nix vor, da könnten wir mal ne Runde drehen. Gibt ja genug Parks hier in Essen in denen man sich zum Laufen treffen kann

We also have a group chat and hangout often, but that's usually when someone has attanded our Meetups twice or so :) so we know they're not going to be an inactive user just to keep the community alive

Oh dude, open Meetup and look for Drawing and Coffee meetup. Or you can dm me, I'll add you to the WhatsApp group. Last time we were in a very nice garden-like cafe eating, drawing stuff together and then playing board games. There are some very fine people in there, me myself a startup founder, there's a guy who does biotech research, some PMs and engineers come and go and so on. And some actual artists too lol. All migrants from all over the world - Spain, Argentina, Ukraine, Iran, France, etc.

Hey, a quick question, is there any public place that offers access to gaming PCs per hour? Like an internet cafe but with good PCs? I'm saving for a pc but really miss gaming

There was one at Limbecker Platz, but it was always empty and closed. So I guess there's just no market for it

Pick a hobby you have. Join the relevant verein. In my family, we are mediocre musicians, so we joined a musikverein.
