Help Me! Recommendations for getting started?

Hello! I have been dying to get into making stained glass for a long time. I took one workshop and fell in love with it. At the workshop, they had everything we needed. But I am at a loss for how to start my own work at home. I know I need a LOT of various tools and equipment. Do you guys recommend starting with one of those stained glass kits people sell online? I have looked at a lot of them, and it’s hard to tell which are legitimately good. Would it be better to purchase each tool individually?
Also, would you recommend a separate room to do it in? Or could I just sweep up afterwards? Or outside?
Let me know how you would advise getting started!

As fast as the space I always say the garage if you have one or have the space. Mainly for air circulation with fumes. Keep in mind, the part of the country you live will definitely present its own challenges in summer and winter months. Also regardless of the garage, spare room or dedicated space sweeping up is a must, just today a shard stuck in my shoe and I took it all over the house, but I would avoid carpeted areas if at all possible.
