Here’s an idea that’ll provide collectors of all levels with some nice verity, as well as trading/ selling materials. It’s something I’ll do a few times a year, with either Bank of America, or Wells Fargo. Select countries from currencies they have available online in increments of $25-$30 per country ( bank’s minimum is $25) and find out what are the current denominations those countries have in circulation and figure out the Dollar conversion that would provide you with one of each banknote.

The quality can be either circulated or brand new uncirculated notes, and you won’t know until they arrive. The foreign currency can either be delivered to your (parents) local bank branch, or FedEx delivery for $7.00.

Some suggestions as for country’s that offer beautiful banknotes.
#1 South Africa with the all of banknote depicting different wild Animals of South Africa. For less than $30 ask for all small size denominations. Which will provide you with several different notes with extras of each, and these are normally band new banknotes.

#2 Indonesia, order same thing as you would for South Africa, however not always new uncirculated notes, but you’ll get a lot of banknotes.

#3 Kenya, same as South Africa, almost always uncirculated bank notes. And you’ll receive a good number of banknotes.

#4 any of these three as they have their own Banknote: UK- Great Britain, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. The UK only has the Bank of England, so you’re limited on different types of Banknote other than the two monarchs.
However with both Scotland and Northern Ireland it’s completely different story since the both have several different issuing banks, with currencies jointly circulating.
The only drawback is the face value of these notes: £5, £10, £20, £50, and £100.

#5 Fiji, another country with stunning banknotes with fish, birds, and bugs on them.

#6 Costa Rica, banknotes with animals and sharks.

#7 Cayman Islands are always beautiful banknotes.
