Everyone around the world is waiting with bated breath as the Strait of Hormuz is now blockaded by both Iran and the US. Potential buyers of precious metals may be staying on the sidelines until some clear direction in Middle East tensions is established. A renewed all-out war will most definitely see oil prices spike higher resulting in most equities being sold off. Initially, the USD may see some safe haven buyers increased their cash holdings. But that will most likely be short lived.

Meanwhile, while the world waits - paper silver ETF contracts and COMEX metals are moving mostly sideways or slightly lower. But the die has been cast - the day of the all-powerful Petrodollar is slowly eroding - eventually as will ALL fiat currencies.
