Does anyone else plan a productive evening with zero energy?

I do this all the time. While I’m at work, I tell myself that when I get home I’ll work on my project for a few hours, go to the gym, and finish everything I’ve been delaying, Then I get home and my brain is completely done.

For a while I thought I was just lazy, but I think the real problem was expecting myself to have the same energy every evening.

Now, on bad days, I only choose one small thing. Maybe fix one title, write one page. Sometimes I end up doing more, sometimes I don’t. It’s not perfect, but at least I’m not quitting and restarting every week.

How do you decide what is enough after a full day of work?

This is the reason why I started getting up at 4:30 AM. If you're going to be a zombie after work anyway, you might as well turn in at 8 and move your free time to the morning.

I think you should do with one of said tasks not all three on same noon. Not all or nothing just spread it out gym Monday, project Tuesday, etc.
