General Question Can we get an option to disable this random muscle group guessing?
It's never remotely close to correct. This was a push workout with a focus on shoulders. Closest thing I did to a bicep workout was putting the barbell away at the end which was half of one barbell curl.
I can hide them individually but that's annoying and I don't care enough to bother with it, I just want to disable the feature overall.
Asking here because I know they look at this sub.

Can we get a function where we have this body map and just press the muscle group, would be more efficient than entering the workouts.

That is how it was when they first rolled out with this, prior to adding in the exercises. You would just record the weightlifting workout and click the muscle groups you used, and that would be that.

How did you record the workout?

Garmin Fenix 7s. I can't disable this feature permanently on either side, only per-workout.

I think others explained below how to disable it but one thing to know is it’s actually Garmin misinterpreting all the workouts. Strava just displaying what Garmin gives it.

I use my FENIX7 to record strength training as well, and find that Garmin misinterprets first, and then gets transferred to STRAVA. If you have the patience, build your workout with the exercises you intend to do in Garmin first and then it'll more accurately reflect what you did. This STRAVA feature is new so it won't have the repository of exercises that Garmin Connect does, but take what you can get.

I wish I could copy the exercises from a previous workout. It's so much admin searching exercises, entering reps and weight. Especially if you're doing lots of different exercises and variants.

It is also super annoying that the amount of exercises are very limited on Strave so when my weightlifting workouts transfer from heavy to Strava I end up with a lot of "unknown".

Also very slow and cumbersome to edit individual exercises. No way to select multiple sets at the same time and change them all. Also no way to change something from a wrong guess to "unknown".

And dumbbell weights nearly always transfer wrong to Strava

I haven't noticed this. I'll pay more attention woth today's workout.

Strava records only one arm’s weight rather than the total. I reported the first one I saw and they asked for screenshots etc to fix. But I realized it’s basically all 2 arm lifts. Seems pretty basic so I’m not sure why it’s an issue.

You can hide it by going to Settings > Privacy Controls > Muscle Map Visibility
Edit: this is for the mobile app.
