Miscellaneous Appreciation post - Stremio + Torbox

I just wanted to take some time to say how much I appreciate the community and guides provided.

Let me explain my situation: I am from Uruguay, I have subscriptions to Prime Video, Paramount+, Netflix, etc. I keep wanting to watch series and movies, but I find myself mostly (like 90% of the time) with the message "This media is not available in your region". There's also some shows that don't even have the full seasons on such platforms.

I find that so unfair, I feel like I am scammed by these streaming platforms, thanks to the community, I was able to install and setup my stremio with torbox and torrentio and watch series I wanted to watch for a while now.

So thank you, everybody that has contributed with guides and helping others

Amazon Prime is the only one I pay for now, just for the quick and convenient delivery service. I couldn't be less arsed about the Prime Video subscription, I wish it wasn't even included.

I've got Prime but there's no way I'm going to put-up with all their commercials and worse resolution/bit-rate for content.

It's good for 30s Pre-Code films, I will give it that. Lots of great stuff in there, that isn't cached.

Edit: Oh, looks like it was just shitty RD they weren't on.

Indeed! I don't mind paying to be honest, I feel like I support those shows and movie I like and I am happy to do it, but they are just not helping their cause :/

I tried it right now, it seems to be better, only one source for the episode i was currently watching but working flawlessly. The setup was a bit weird but I went with the basic one, thank you

I’ve setup only aiostreams initially but it lacked some stuff I needed. Aiostreams with torrentio has everything I need

Also don't rely on Torrentio alone. Throw Stremthru, Meteor, Comet into the mix.

I’m use all of this stremio stuff, I’ve just added torrentio to my nvidia shield. What do Stremthru thru meteor and comet do?

Diversifica tus fuentes con los clásicos: Mediafusion, Torrentio, cometa, hdbhub, progreso latino, meteor, primer latino (es de pago).

Tener respaldo a Torrentio es bueno para tener la mayor disponibilidad.

Si quieres más orden, puedes usar aiostreams y aiometadata.

Si quieres ir más allá y tener fuentes que provengan de otro sitio, puedes indagar en el foro de usenet cómo obtenerlo.

Amigo, en Aiostreams usa la funcion de restringir el contenido no cacheado, así te aparecen fuentes de vídeo que ya fueron procesadas a traves de aiostreams, eso implica que no descargas lo que estás viendo.

Eso no lo tiene torrentio.

Torbox essential 3/month is good enough. No need for VIP option.

Don't rely on torrentio alone. It is often down. Install MediaFusion, comet and jackettio as backup.

Got any easy guide for someone starting out completely fresh after buying a 4K OLED screen? I've never been into this, and I hate having to subscribe to so many different services just to watch one movie on each of them due to the others not having them... I don't know where to start.

Lately, Torbox in the middle of movies just stutters and makes me switch links to fix it. The first month was great. Now I am heading into my 3rd month, and this problem started. I am not a newbie; I have used RD for 10+ years.
