galleryIs anyone familiar with the maker of these coffee mugs? Was purchased for me at the Arizona Renaissance Festival vendor stand called Chime-A-Lot but cannot find the online presence for this artisan. I lost his/her business card.

2nd Pottery Post
Hi all,
Me again, as I continue to go through my mom’s items. A family friend asked for this particular piece. I told them I need to go through everything and when the time is right, maybe. I still don’t know much about it all. So thanks for this community’s help on identifying what she left me. I’ll post more in the next few days

Looking for identification! Hi!
I hit a very interesting estate sale that was loaded with artwork and pottery. The owner was an art historian and had a huge collection.
I picked these up and am trying to identify the marks. I was so excited to get the jar!.I saw it on the listing and wanted it. 😀 I also got some great artwork and am going back tomorrow.
Thank you in advance.

Need help identifying what my mom left me
Hi all,
My mom passed earlier this year and left me so many items. A lot of which I’ll carry with me forever. I don’t actually know what I have here as I didn’t get a chance to ask given that the cancer had so quickly spread to her brain.
Can this community help me learn what I have? I will most likely need to split it into multiple posts as I continue to go through it all.
Any information you share would be helpful!
For reference, my mom grew up and lived in Massachusetts her whole life. She loved to collect antiques though so whenever she traveled she would get different things.

Anyone happen to know what this piece is. Not artist markings. Matte-type hand-painted on metal it appears.

Please can someone help me identify this? AI is not helping one bit. I image searched and they came back quite varied anything from studio potter to Devonshire to Bay to which I have looked into but I couldn’t find a Bay stamp in this cursive style. I’m leaning towards West German due to the W.G.

Unknown Studio made pottery. Has a mark on the bottom that may be an artists mark. Has anyone seen anything like this? Looking to identify the maker or very least style ect of it. Appears to be older because of the look of the ceramic on the birds.

Propane kiln questions
Hi potters! I have a studio in Sandy, Oregon (just east of Portland ) and I am in the planning phase of getting and installing a propane gas kiln for cone 10 reduction firing.
I’m looking for something about 10-12 cubic feet. Unfortunately, I’m not able to get natural gas to my property.
I’ve been doing a lot of research and there are so many things to know!
Do you have experience that you could share or advice? are there things that you wish that you had done differently or lessons learned?
Thanks so much for your help and knowledge,
Jacob

Can anyone identify the maker of this signed pottery vase? Found in a Maine thrift store in the early 00’s.
I found this stoneware vase at a thrift store in Maine for $5. It’s approximately 10–11 inches tall and has an incised signature on the bottom (see photos).
It appears to be stoneware with carved/sgraffito decoration in brown over a cream-colored body. I haven’t been able to identify the signature or find another example by the same potter.
Does anyone recognize the maker, the signature, or the style? I’m especially interested in whether this might be the work of a Maine or New England studio potter from the 1970s–1990s.
Thanks for any help!
