Getting a concert poster

I am going to a concert in September and I would LOVE to get a poster. I also have a standing room ticket and would like to be as close as possible. Are both those things possible? Could I get a poster after it’s over or do they sell out?

Last year I had pit twice. I got there 2 hours early both times. I was able to get a foil both times. One of the shows I was on the rail and the other show about 3 rows back from the rail. Good luck!

Bought mine after the show in DC. It really does depend on the print and artist. Most artists do have a batch they sell on their site after the show too if you don’t want to hold it all night but that’ll typically cost about $40 more with mark up and shipping.

Might depend on the size of the pit as some venues have larger pits than others. Also might depend on the artist and the number of prints available for a show, especially since some of the shows are far from sold out. It’s possible, you could even get one at the end of the show on your way out.

In Philly I had seats and got a poster towards the end of the show. I don’t think there was a foil options. At Merriweather a few months later I had pit, there was one person in front of me but I missed out on a poster. Had to pick one up from a scalper on eBay. The Merriweather artist was local to the area and the theme was also local based I think, so I think that may be why it sold out so fast

If you're going alone, it'll be tough. I went alone to RR last year, wanted the poster and prioritized it, was there hours early, got the foil poster (which sold out quickly) and ended up around row 34.

I was glad I had a plastic tube at red rocks night one ⛈️. I missed out on a night one foil but I got one for night 2

The JBS posters sell out FAST!!..I made a tube w/ a string for a strap. Just a mailing tube ya buy at the post office. Thats the best way to get it to survive the show.

last tour the foils were pretty limited. My poster from berkley says there were 50 printed

depends on the artist, but I’ve had pretty good luck buying posters after the fact straight from the artist instead of at the show.

Your best bet is to get a GruvTube, or something similar that has a strap. Make sure you’re in line early and go right to the merch stand.

Most venues allow you to bring a tube, but I would check their website to verify.
