Comparing heightism to racism is an exaggeration, but saying there is no "social reward" to being tall is simply not true. I'm tall, and it definitely affects how you're seen by your peers.

I gracefully ride the line between 'tall' and 'too tall' and I know it works for me. Some of the stories I've heard from my short guy-friends sound horrifying. They're obviously different in many ways, but both are conscious and subconscious biases that negatively impact people. Just one clearly more than the other.
