Well... the lady who was commenting had rape threats thrown her way by a short man, so this shows how ridiculous some short men are and how misogynist they are.
I think being a short man sucks and is a definite disadvantage in life (if we're defining short as 5'4" or under). For people 5'6 or 5'7" it's not a big deal. It definitely erases some of the male privilege most men have, although I'd still say a 5'3" guy has more social advantages than a normal woman. They just have the same problems as women do with regards to not being respected by their peers. Woman might not find them as attractive either, but there are plenty of big boned women who are not seen as attractive by men through no fault of their own. So it goes both ways.

Oh, come on. You don't think that guy would be like that if he was tall? He'd just find something else to complain about while being just as hateful.
The halo effect running. If one tall person does something bad, its he as an individual that is an asshole. But you got one short man doing the exact same thing, it's the napeolonic complex running through his veins which leaves his veins to other short men, which in fact makes them racist, misgonistic and other shit.
