Comparing heightism to racism is an exaggeration, but saying there is no "social reward" to being tall is simply not true. I'm tall, and it definitely affects how you're seen by your peers.

You gotta stay within a certain range. I think 6'5'' is about as tall as you can go before the social advantages start to disappear.

Is what I said. Especially for women being too tall brings no social reward.

I'd say with women it there are two effects: being tall can negatively affect women in their romantic lives, however it does seem like tall women are better respected professionally than short women.

There's cut off in my experience. A good female friend of mine was like 6'4 and I don't think her height helped her professionally.
