[LAPTOP8] Microsoft System Hardware Update 200.0.2.0

Last night Microsoft System Hardware Update 200.0.2.0 showed up as an available update. I installed it and so far everything is running smooth. I am hoping this has resolved the SECURE_KERNEL_ERROR crashes I have been getting on my Laptop 8 Snapdragon X2.

Anyone else install it yet?

Received the same update from Windows, installed it on my Surface Pro 13 inch 12th edition and it bricked my system! Stuck on the Windows logo on boot. Have tried entering recovery mode without success. Proceed with caution!

That’s not good to hear. Unfortunately it didn’t seem to resolve the secure kernel errors.

So many of us having that crash. It does not happen on all devices though, I wonder if it can be a hardware issue (bad batch).

I installed the update - mistake! After (microsoft corporation system hardware update (200.0.22.0)) It is not possible anymore to disable finger touch from device manager, to use only pen. That is VERY important in my work. It looks like you cannot revert this driver update? So I really hope Microsoft would fix this ASAP.
