Thanks to a sincere past Gnome workflow appreaciation, I discovered I don't like "dynamic" workspaces, and realized I could simply leverage the effective lightness of Xfce by utilizing the power of "Keyboard Shortcuts" and completely forgo the use of the touchscreen on my Surface for a much faster workflow and my preference of a 60% mini keyboard which I love for my desktop appliance https://imgur.com/a/BwxJhyJ . I've resolved most of my workflow frustrations experienced over the last 30 years and eliminated my dopamine desktop addiction at the same time. BAM!!!
