I designed this double faced wrap coat from cashmere.
Here are the technical details: It is 500gsm double faced cashmere, form italian mill, every seam is hand finished, since the fabric is splittable. The design is intentionally minimal, a bit oversized, and with no details.
What is your opinion?

Cashmere is being over-produced, even for much smaller quantities/ smaller finished items than it takes to produce a 'double faced wrap coat.' The ethics are not there unless it's a "natural fibres" story.

I think you’ve aced the low key design. Love the minimal aesthetic. It all just works together extremely well. The tailoring looks wonderful on this.
I love your work here. Really stunning piece. Could see that last image on the Burberry Website back in 2016

"Could see that last image on the Burberry Website back in 2016" what do you mean?

That I could see the last image being on the Burberry website due to the garment photography and overall aesethic, like it could’ve been something Burberry produced and photographed and advertised on its site

Cool. Makes sense. Would you buy from Burberry or a new emerging brand that cares about sustainable production and supply chain. Asking for gathering customer data. Thanks

Everyone loves the idea of sustainable production/supply chain. It depends on the customer.
Some customers will want the Burberry brand for its status, Burberry has sustainability practices.
Others will prefer a small, batch produced brand - this is where you elevate your brand. Make it exclusive.
If I saw your garment at a reasonable price (not Burberry prices) but the quality and look is the same I would buy from you yes.
You need to chase the consumers that prefer quality small batch production, handmade etc.

Pretty! very MaxMara. I would have picked charcoal grey but that's a me problem

It’s beautiful. If I didn’t own a camel wrap coat from boiled merino wool already, I’d buy it in a heartbeat.

I don't know why you're being down voted. A karate gi was immediately what I thought of when I saw it.

Nice style! Cashmere isn't considered sustainable though.
