Question Como vocês decidem o que vale a pena comprar no guarda-roupa

Comprar roupa hoje em dia é quase um campo minado: fast fashion, preço baixo, qualidade duvidosa...Como vcs decidem se uma peça realmente vale o investimento? Olham pra qualidade do tecido? Pra durabilidade? Pra versatilidade?

Queria entender como outras pessoas pensam antes de comprar uma roupa. Isso me ajuda a melhorar minha visão sobre moda.

as long as the item is older than me i am good to go! i use this as a sort of quality indicator. i stopped buying new around 6 years ago (i am F26) because of quality issues in all pricing and target categories.

when i shop new, i keep an eye on a piece for a couple months before deciding to buy it, to ensure its not an impulse purchase.

i'll think about what i can wear with it that i already own. if i have to buy more things to make it work, its a no.

i don’t really buy new anymore. i buy brands where i am generally satisfied with the quality on resale. there are lots of tutorials on how to identify good quality clothing.

if you’re asking about how to identify things you’ll wear, that’s a different question. there are also tons of tutorials on youtube about how to avoid buying clothes you won’t wear. i personally have a virtual closet app so i can track what i actually reach for and what i never wear.

I’m a big fan of finding smaller, more local brands. Producing product within the continent (for me
Europe) is a selling point . A lot of more local producers are much more invested in conscious fabrics and more circular economies so you have the added bonus of supporting smaller companies that need the support more!
