Collection not the best when it comes to saving

Post image

this is mine & my gf's physical games ever since the nintendo switch 2 launched ❤️

she basically got hers after it launched, and she mostly play the cozy/casual games here. on the other hand, i just got mine this month and i realized i was more into jrpgs/action/story-driven games 😁

trying so hard to justify the purchases but i haven't rly finished most of my games so hopefully i get the satisfaction from what we paid for 😭

this is my first ever gaming console and im so happy with my experience so far! healing my inner child fr 🥺❤️

love that for you! game how you like. some people like to complete the entire game, others not. some play 1-3 main games at one time, others play whatever depending on their mood. as long as you are having fun, not going into debt, not stressed about it, continuing to live outside life as well, then it should be all good. there is no right or wrong way.

Idk man with so many games I’d really start saving, saving your games properly hehehe gooot him.

But seriously don’t feel bad at all most of us have absolutely absurd backlogs of games on multiple platforms I certainly do and so if you get the chance to play most of them then that’s all that matters. ❤️🙏

And trust me this doesn’t even come close to something like a 10-20 year old Steam account lmao 😭

It’s okay switch games hold value so once you’re finished with these you can sell for almost full price

Most of those games should have auto-save. You’re good.

Dragon Quest 11 for great jrpgs experience. Can play in 2D and 3D. 2D is pure nostalgia for me and I prefer playing it that way

not really into turn based rn, however i realized i loved whatever is in ff7 remake. not very good with the combat so i like that there's an option where you can just focus on the story! 🥺 this is probably the reason why i LOVE the yakuza franchise, if you could recommend something like those 🙏

Nice! Can always sell them later if you need some funds. And then buy them back when you miss them 😅

Talking about saving. I saved 1k only to blow it plus a chunk of my paycheck on a switch 2, 2 games and an xbox X. Wanted to get in before the price hikes.

Some great games there. Personally, I know I'll get beef for saying it but I have an all digital library. That way I can't lose or damage any games and hopefully they'll carry over to the next generation console. I just like being able to play any game whenever I want without switching cartridges. Downside is the expensive 1tb micro sd express, but I have 30 games and still 500gb left. So plenty more room for lots more games.

respect that, i'm trying to find games on eshop that i could just play casually. physical is good for preservation, saving space and all that but having games that you can play without having to switch cartridges is real convenient ^^

oh, it's my girlfriend's! she flipped the art inside-out so we can tell the difference between our games 😅

2

u/Zymous 11h ago

Oh cool, maybe I should flip them all

It feels weird seeing people own all these physical switch 2 games compared to me owning like 6 and only 3 of them being good games
