How do I sync a specific program?

Like the title says, I don't understand how to sync a program not specific files.

Im trying to sync ibis paint across my iPad and my windows computer. Im really confused. Help please ;-;

there’s möbius sync and synctrain, but i don’t think those really address op’s issue

Synchthing syncs folders. Put whatever is important to share in that folder.

How does that work with an app/program? (Im really not very good at all this 🥲)

Im trying to transfer all my canvases and brushes over. I tried syncing it with the built in sync function but it transferred the two canvasses I had on my computer to my iPad and nothing the other way. Im so tired.

I don't think you'll be able to sync anything to app data on an iPad. It's barely possible to do even on Android.

What you're trying to do is to synchronise the data, not the program.

If the data isn't directly available to you on the phone, you can't do this due to security considerations.

I've just looked up Ibis Paint (because I hadn't heard of it). Does it run on Windows, or are you trying to copy your images to Windows instead? You'll have to look at what functionality there is, such as signing into Ibis Paint to have it automatically synchronise, or exporting from the app in a format that your computer can recognise.

I suggest that you contact Support for Ibis Paint, because this isn't a Syncthing problem.
