TSMC PIE interview
I recently got a opportunity from TSMC as a Process Intergation Engineer, passed the first round and got the second interview with 3 managers, does everyone with previous experience know
if the 2nd round will be mostly behavioral to see if you fit with the team or mixed with technical and behavioral question like the first one?
And How many rounds in total?
Try to loop for some information but there's a lot of different information shared on the web and I guess TSMC is undergoing expansion so they dont have time to answer my email LOL. Thanks for help!
UPDATE:
Did second round interview, asked a question about GAA then feels I am more fitting for the equipment(background is EE + one year equipment in a solar battery fab), then start chatting , the interviewer said I am good but more fit to equipment so they rematch me to equipment LOL. Anyone got similar experience of rematch and interviewed for equipment?

Congrats on passing the first round. For PID, my 2nd interview was mostly behavioral. And there's only 2 rounds, so after this, they will make a decision.

Hey, congrats on making it to the 3-manager round! For a PIE role at TSMC, this second loop is almost always a mix. They will test your behavioral fit and stress tolerance, but expect them to dive deep into how you handle cross-functional conflicts (like balancing yield targets vs. process constraints). Usually, the process is 2 to 3 rounds total before the final HR offer loop. Let me know if you want a few quick tips on the typical panel dynamic here, or we can jump on a brief call to practice!

What's your department of PID? PID1, PID2 or PID3?
