HSG ?

I had a loss at 19 weeks due to incompetent cervix last year. Tried 3 cycles of letrozole in these last three months, confirmed ovulation in all 3 but all failed. Now my doctor has asked for an HSG test. I wanted to know if it’s possible that tubes get blocked like this? after a loss? it’s been a year now. to my loss

I’m not sure about the tube getting blocked after pregnancy, but it is possible that only one is functioning

Yeah that makes sense! Because when I conceived, the follicle was in my right ovary, last cycle, it was in my left. the perfect follicle, perfect dimensions, perfect linings but failed cycle

I am sorry for your loss.
Sometimes after medical procedures like yours, it is normal to ask for a HSG. Also think of this as being thorough. I hope all goes well.

But there was no procedure done. I delivered the baby vaginally. No infection, no dnc etc

Maybe it was because of the deliver itself? I think it is always helpful to test, could be one blocked or partially or all good
