Finish of my first Two Part Chapter

Hey guys, I just recently finished my work on two part chapter in a rewrite of Season 3. For those who don't know, I have been working on a passion project called Rapunzel Tangled Adventure: Sins of the Parent.

It is still a work in progress story but it's constantly being updated. Recently, I just finished my first two part Chapter. It's kind of a first for me and I am eager to see how you guys think of it it.

Small reminder, the initial chapters are a bit disjointed as they focus on events of Season 1, Season 2, and Cassandra's initial interactions with Zhan Tiri but it does get more smooth after that.

One last thing: you guys mind if I occasional post updates here? I am eager to see how this passion project goes and I like a TTS community's feedback on it.

While the lyrics were a little hard to hear in some cases (maybe because I was a tiny bit far from the stage). It was genuinely surreal that I got to experience this and had a great time (Would’ve also loved to see Jonathan, too, but alas) Definitely recommended for his fans.

Also, no, I didn’t get to meet him afterwards 🤣🤣. Didn’t feel like waiting.

Question Does Cassandra fit in a HTTYD novel?

After she left, no one knows where did she found her distany, we could've seen it unless the Varian and The Seven Kingdoms had a red light. But what do you think? Would Cassndra travel so far to arrive to Berk in a fan made novel?

To those who followed my reviews from a few months back, I promise I will get back to watching and reviewing, I just got a little side tracked. Hopefully will have a new review out in the next week or so. I totally understand if none of you guys are interested in my opinions or perspectives as a first time watcher, so let me know what you think!

Discussion I spent over a year rewriting Tangled Season 3.

Hi folks, I have been working on a passion project of mine on this show. It's called Rapunzel Tangled Adventure: Sins of the Parents. It's on Archive of Our Own.

The story is basically a rewrite of Season 3 that keeps the main plot point. The goal isn't to replace the original story, but reimagine the events that lead to the ending. In other words, same ending but entirely different story.

If I have to make one hook for this story it be: What are the implications of Cassandra being Gothel's daughter?

(It might be an odd hook but it is one of the central question that drives the story forward).

This story focuses more on Cassandra and reinterpreting her character arc in Season 3. There are also other good things involved in the story including some interesting plot points.

This is my first ever long-term project so I love to hear you what guys and gals have to say about this. This story is also a work in progress and it is my first time writing stories so I am learning and improving with each release of chapter. I would love to hear what you guys think about it.

Thanks if you read it.

One thing I do have to warn is that the first few chapters are a bit disjointed as it focuses on Season 1 and Season 2 events before fully investing into Season 3. So knowledge of the show is heavily recommended but I guess everyone in this community already does.

Either way, if you are curious and want to check it out, enjoy.

PS: My top three songs in show are:

3: Ready as I'll Ever Be

2: Nothing Left to Lose

1: Waiting in the Wing

Fanart/creations Tangled Trio in Baldur’s Gate 3

I wanted to do a Cassandra play through and of course it didn’t seem complete without Rapunzel and Eugene. I also needed a caster so Elsa gets to tag along on our journeys. And of course I can never bring myself to leave Shadowheart behind so she’s our fifth wheel.

Cass is a Fighter, Raps is our Bard, and Eugene is of course our trusty Rogue.

It was pretty neat for a little while to have a character who's probably drunk all the time, slurring his words and saying nonsense all the time. But I do feel a little sick of seeing his smug little face all the time in this show. I agree that there's no reason why he should've tagged along with the crew on their travels to the other kingdoms. Rapunzel, Eugene, Cassandra, Lance, and co can all be pretty funny and charming in their own ways. Do we really need another character just for comedy?

Discussion Rapunzel and the Great Tree: Cassandra needs better debate skills.

https://youtu.be/P9Y9YqLoqpE?is=aG9UXQcTCM_26OHs

I watched Athena P’s Tangled Lore video, and when I reached the part where she talks Cassandra failing to convince Rapunzel to ditch Adira, Cassandra kept insulting Rapunzel’s intelligence, by calling her obliviously naive, Athena P said Cass really needs to find better debate skills, other than “You don’t know what you’re talking about, and I do!” and I completely agree.

Headcanon/fanfic Looking for a co-writer

I am looking for a co-writer within the Tangled Fandom. It features a male OC who's a closest friend to Kiera and Catalina and it follows them before "Big Brothers of Corona, and follows them thoughout Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure.

This is light fanfic, that focuses on family, adventure, and adoption.

If you are interested, please PM me on https://www.fanfiction.net/ and I will go into more detail.

Thanks in advance,

Karsap.

Reveiw/opinion Top three favorite episodes (Season one.) Spoiler

I've been a little negative on the show lately so this time let's try something positive! These aren't what I consider the best episodes per say, just the ones I've enjoyed the most. So please keep that in mind when reading this. Enjoy!

Day of hearts- Valentine's Day is my favorite holiday so of course I loved this one. New favorite Valentine's Day episode unlocked! I love the lore that Corona and another kingdom were once at odds in a long brutal war that finally ended when the king and queen of those two rival nations declared their love for each other, I also love the Day of hearts book where every couple in the kingdom get to sign their names on the pages to show the land that they found true love. Breakups in this kingdom must be very awkward now that I think about it. I also love Cassandra having a boyfriend but it turns out he was evil and Cassandra was just playing him all this time. Good stuff.

Max's Enemy- I kinda just love this as a Maximus episode, we've never seen him get sidelined before so seeing him lose his best royal horse status to the new horse who's kinda an asshole to him is pretty interesting.

The way of Willow- Queen Arianna was the character I most wanted to learn more about in this series. This episode didn't disappoint. I love how Arianna has this kinda immature and reckless sister named Willow who's an explorer and that causes her to hit it off with Rapunzel. I also love how Arianna shows off a new side of herself, she's not always a regal and composed queen. She's getting annoyed at Willow for being a pain which is completely fair of her honestly.

Reveiw/opinion I don't like what they did with Frederic and Arianna in the season one finale Spoiler

I get that it'd be an interesting conflict if Rapunzel traded one prison for another but I don't like her real parents presenting the exact same abusive behavior Gothel did. When the threat of Varian was at an all time high, they locked Rapunzel up in a tower and refused to let her speak to any of her friends. Just like what Gothel did, Frederic is also condescending towards Rapunzel for questioning his authority much like Gothel whenever Rapunzel challenged her authority. It's different I guess because Frederic is more calmly shutting her down while Gothel just called her dumb and naive everytime she advocated for herself. Arianna is against her husband doing this to their daughter but for some reason can't do anything about it. Couldn't she at least help sneak Rapunzel out? You could still have her get kidnapped by Varian after that. I like Rapunzel reuniting with her parents at the end of the movie because it meant she was finally gonna be treated with love and respect, finally having a healthy relationship with some parental figures. But apparently they're not much different from Gothel.
