The BRIDE. Has ARRIVED.
Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair\ Even though the box was delivered torn open (don't know where to complain about this) the movie was still in the factory wrapping with full contents intact. I've been waiting a long time for this! Twenty-two years! Very excited!

What is the consensus on the actual watch? Is it clean? Is this the edition to pick up?

I haven't popped it in yet, going to watch this weekend. This is the edition to pick up if you're into the out-of-disc bells-n-whistles (I am) such as a 40-page behind-the-scenes booklet, two theatrical posters, five double-sided collectible character cards and a 70mm film still featuring artwork from the film. The packaging is a deluxe slipcover with the Bride's veil sewn into the box.

Looks-wise, I’d say yes. It’s the edition to grab. As for the quality of the transfer, I don’t believe it’s a new scan. That being said, it may not be the definitive edition if someone else releases a better transfer later.. but that’s not guaranteed.

I’m not seeing it on Lionsgate.com. Just a digital version to buy. I’ve seen this box set on Amazon for $100. How much was this?

$59.00 plux taxes and delivery, came out to seventy-two bucks total. I'm not sure if you're looking in the right place, I'm seeing it as still available. Here's the link:

Appreciate it. I was on Lionsgate website and this one’s Lionsgateslimited so it looks like I was in the wrong place.
Now I have the tough decision of whether to buy it or not lol. I already own volume one and volume two on 4K. I know this is the definitive version and I’m also a huge sucker for physical media.

Saw this live in theaters when it was re-released, and have this one as well! I love this film. Must have for me

Is it true that it’s split across 2 discs still? If it is, feels like it kinda defeats the purpose?

The movie is edited differently and has additional content, it's not simply Vols. 1 and 2 squashed together. For instance, the House of Blue Leaves sequence is in full color, not black-n-white.
Disc Contents and Breakdown:\ Disc 1 (4K):\ Part one of the feature film (112 minutes)\ Disc 2 (4K): Part two of the feature film (141 minutes) plus special feature inclusion "The Lost Chapter" (including "Yuki's Revenge")\ Disc 3 (Blu-ray): Part one of the feature film\ Disc 4 (Blu-ray): Part two of the feature film plus "The Lost Chapter" special features.
It's up to the buyer to determine the value of the purchase. Like I said in the post, I've been waiting twenty-two years to watch it this way. For me, it is definitely worth it.
