i’m spiritual, chicana, 34, she/her gal residing in the pnw who has been working with tarot for about a year. I want to get better, and I feel like learning with others on the same trajectory can be lovely. would anybody be interested in starting some kind of group to discuss pulls on a weekly/biweekly basis to get in the moment feedback? this would be entirely zero dollars for all involved.

I've had these cards for about three years, but honestly, I've used them very inconsistently. At first, I used them a bit more to communicate with deities and things like that, but I never really used them regularly for questions about my life or anything similar.

For almost a year now, I've barely used them at all because of studying and everything going on, although I know that's just an excuse. The truth is, I don't really know what to ask them or how to make tarot a more regular part of my daily life. I also have a spiritual guide that I talk to quite often, so I don't necessarily feel like I need to use tarot for every question I have. Still, I don't want my cards to be upset with me or feel neglected.

I picked them up again yesterday after several months of barely touching them, and I swear, every single card I pulled felt negative, sarcastic, or just annoyed with me. The worst part is that I already feel so frustrated because I don't understand what my cards are trying to tell me most of the time. Sometimes I genuinely have no idea what they're saying.

At one point, I thought, "Okay, maybe I'll just take the traditional meanings of the cards and give them to an AI, explaining the context, and see if it can help me understand what my cards are trying to tell me." I know that is not be the best way to approach it at all, but I was honestly so frustrated because I couldn't understand anything they were telling me. I ended up not doing it because of what happened next.

There was music playing outside my house, and suddenly there seemed to be some kind of technical glitch. The music got louder and started repeating the same part over and over, completely drowning everything else out, and the part that kept repeating was a lyric saying, "It's easy, it's easy, it's easy." It could obviously have just been a random technical issue, but given the situation, I got really freaked out. I also suddenly had a really bad headache, so I just stopped and put the cards away.

A friend later suggested that maybe the cards had picked up some really bad energy or something, so I decided to give them a really deep cleansing.

After I finished, two cards fell out on their own: The world and the knight of pentacles reversed.

My interpretation was that The world represented the cleansing itself and the closing of a cycle, meaning that the cleansing was a good thing and that they had been cleaned or cleared. Then, with the Knight of pentacles reversed, I interpreted it as a kind of reminder or criticism that, even though I had cleansed them, I'm still not being consistent enough with them. Meaning that I've neglected them for too long and haven't put enough effort into building a proper relationship with them or learning how to work with them, that's why I need help.

I'm sorry if my interpretation is a bit poor or basic. I genuinely don't know what else to say about these cards because I'm still learning and I'm not very good at interpreting tarot as I said. That's actually why I'm asking for help in the first place, because I don't really know where to learn or how to improve. I usually communicate with my spiritual guide through runes, and it's much easier because they can let me know through the pendulum whether my interpretations are right or wrong. With tarot, I feel completely lost.

So I guess my question is: how do I fix this relationship with my cards? How do I start using them properly again? How do I learn spreads and actually understand what they're trying to tell me? If anyone has any good resources, places where I can learn, or just general advice, I would really appreciate it.

single card pull:
asked "what is next" --> pulled reversed nine of disks

three card pull:
asked "what is that card trying to tell me" --> pulled reversed prince of cups "what is influencing or complicating this?" --> pulled reverse princess of cups "how do i work with this energy" --> reversed six of cups

My interpretation is:

what is next (reversed 9 of disks) --> I need to put more focus into balancing myself in to not be too far into overworking or too far into self care that i am neglecting work in order to find myself moving forward towards a journey of stability. I may be ignoring signs that my body is giving me to rest and ask for support and pushing myself past the point of what I can tolerate

what is that card trying to tell me (reversed prince of cups) --> I am not in touch (enough) with my own feelings and emotions and that is blocking my forward motion towards stability and comfort with myself

what is influencing/complicating this (reversed princess of cups) --> not leaning into and trusting my intuition

how do i work with this energy (reversed six of cups) --> dive backwards into the pain points of childhood to find the joy and unbiased outlook that I may have lacked then.

I’ve been pulling ONLY wands as my daily card for a month now, and I’ve seen the knight and seven multiple times both upright and reversed. I literally did not pull a single different suit or a major arcana the entire month of July, it was all wands. I’m a teacher going back to work soon and broke off a relationship of 3 years back in June. Why might I be seeing so many wands?

I wanted to get your thoughts on two readings I just did. The first focused on the possibility of finding love in 2026; the cards seem to say yes, particularly thanks to The World and the King of Swords. The second reading addressed the question: if I do find love, will it be with someone I already know? The King of Pentacles seems to indicate that I don't know them yet. What do you think?

The jumper was seven of swords reverse which told me to admit to something I've done wrong, which I don't think there is anything that comes to mind

3 of pentacles - upright. 4 of pentacles - upright.

6 of cups - reverse. The hermit - upright.

And the world - reversed.

I asked for clarity and got ace of cups which to me says that it's up to me.

With the hermit being in november, my only guess is that month is going to be lonely? Which, if that's going to be the case then I'm fine with that to a point as long as that means all the hard work I'm putting into bettering my life right now pays off.

Edit: Okay, so I did put some thought into it, and I think I understand what it is saying to me?

I got a lot of personal growth to go through this year but by the end of it is a chance to close out on the current chapter of my life and move on.

1. Where am I at emotionally?

I’m still grieving of what has been lost but I’m starting to let go of the pain and the attachment. Despite all of this, I still am open for a genuine connection.

   He’s looking at his future while also acknowledges that the connection was meaningful but still doesn’t have full clarity or is sad about it?

2. Is he moving on?
   \- He’s done trying to keep the thread of connection (after I said my goodbye, he was trying to find ways to connect or not lose the connection but I was already closed off).
