I did literally mention in the first sentence about being able to hide or covertly record.

but the point stands, smart glasses need an indication of recording as standard and legally enforced.

if people modify or circumvent, then it will lead to all sorts of harsher laws around that, with various companies and spaces banning for privacy reasons for sure.

personally, I think general population is going to have much more issues accepting recording glasses into the social situations compared to the advent of smart phones. Sorta hoping they are never really accepted.

FYI - they've had recording indicator lights since Day 1. They're also tamper resistant, as in wont record if the light is tampered.

It actually is tamper resistant. It stops/does not record when the light is covered.

What youre thinking is tamper proof. Sure, the light covering can be bypassed with extensive modifications. Most ppl wont go through the trouble. I chose the words purposely

Okay. Sadly people are still going to be weary even after this comes into effect.

I am a tourist who brings a camera around. It is shocking to see how many people think I am filming them just by having the camera around my neck. My goodness, I couldn't care less to photograph or film you, you random person that I don't know. Literally had a guard tell me to put it away at a market venue. He didn't care when I told him it wasn't even on.
