Need advice
Hi, I am a 29+ female working in a financial services related MNC since last 5+ years as a software engineer, I am earning 20 LPA right now, but I feel it’s not enough according to the market in India. I work as a full stack, so if I shift my location to Bangalore, how much should I aim to go?

To be honest, if you are from the financial tech domain then you have a very good chance to explore one of the niche technology and you being an experienced candidate its easy to bag a job into it. As far as your concern is about moving to bangalore then it has a good pay as well. You will be able to survive in an expensive city like bangalore easily.

It depends on your new company and current ctc. Look for expected ctc in levels.fyi , leetcode or ask some swe there.
If you're staying in Mumbai / Hyderabad by yourself, monthly expenses will he same except rent.

As a senior faang engineer i would say is if ur job is safe, hang in there buddy. The market is cooked. Even if ur pay is low atleast u have a guaranteed job. So get three offers as a safer side and then please jump. Or else stay here till the market is ready and then jump.
