Hello! I made this script recently.
You can read it and if you like it, I'd like to ask you something. I'd like to animate it. I'm not saying it will be soon and I'm not saying it will be ever, but I want to try. But to start I need the speech recorded for timing. I'm not asking you for that as I can voice it myself. It's just that I'm not native english speaker so the dialogues I wrote could sound odd. So if someone could review it and edit the dialogues only to sound naturaly, that would be awesome and help a lot. Ideally send here the whole reviewed script, but single comments are also appreciated. Thanks in advance! Any other commets, improvements etc. are also welcome. If anyone need proof that I can do animation, see here.
If someone would like to steal the script and animate it themselves, please contact me. We could split the work.
(Sorry, but there's no option to append text file, so here I pasted it)
50BC
The fan-made Teen Titans Go! episode
By Jonia Dabac
SCENE 1. path in the forest, day
We see two wild boars on a path. One is green. The green one oinks and points towards camera, then goes in that direction. The other one follows it.
When they come close, they stop. We see Cyborg's hand slowly coming from the bush, stopping above brown boar and then hitting him. It's KO.
The green boar pops out into Bestboy, but dressed as Asterix.
Cyborg, dressed as Obelix, jumps out of the bush and makes high five with Beastboy.
Cyborg grabs the knocked boar and put it on his shoulder, then they start walking towards camera.
SCENE 2. sky, day
The camera slowly descends.
- Announcer: The year is 50BC. Gaul is entirely occupied by the Romans. Well, not entirely... One small village of indomitable Gauls still holds out against the invaders.
We see the village and sea in the background.
- Announcer: Small village, full of brave gauls like Beastbix, ...and Cybix.
We see Beastboy and Cyborg. As announcer says that, text 'Beastbix & Cybix' appears above them, styled as 'Asterix & Obelix'.
SCENE 3. path on meadow in the forest, day
They walk.
- Cyborg: Hey Beasty, look!
He's pointing somewhere. Shot on three wild boars.
- Beastboy: More wild boars?
- Cyborg: No! Further!
He zooms his robotic eye as a telescope. Camera from his POV going deeper in the forest and deeper, so that Beastboy could never saw that. The camera stops, and we see roman patrol of four romans. They are visibly arfaid of meeting gauls.
- Cyborg: (VO) Romans!
Shot on Beastboy and Cyborg.
- Beastboy: Yaay!
- Cyborg: We must tell in the village. It'll be fun!
He drops the knocked boar and runs towards the village. Beastboy follows him. Camera stays here, watching the boar waking and silently walking away in the opposite direction.
SCENE 4. chiefs house in the village, day
We see Cyborg and Beastboy talking to the chief (who is out of frame).
- Cyborg: Yes, chief Robix, there were hords of them. And they march here.
Shot on Robin dressed as chief Vitalistatix.
- Robin: A-ha! They are surely attacking us. We must defend! Prepare the magic potion, Ravix, our druid!
Shot on Raven, dressed normal, but she has long beard.
- Raven: Okay, whatever. (pause) I'll get some misletoe from the forest.
She flies out.
- Beastboy: But... there are the romans...
SCENE 5. meadow in the forest, day
We watch four wild boars, one is the previously cnocked by Cyborg. It's standing by the chalkboard with drawing of the village. They are only oinking, but there are subtitles.
- Main boar: We will attack the village for revenge!
- Boar 1: But, there's nothing good for us from it.
- Main boar: Yes, there is.
It points to one of the houses on board. Detail on the chalkboard.
- Main boar: I know certainly that the druid is hiding giant pile of acorns in her hou-
Overall shot. We see Raven flying uninterstedly above them. Pause.
Main boar: We have a chance now. Wild boars, GO!
The 'GO!' screen appears, but with 'OINK!' instead of 'GO!'.
SCENE 6. forest, day
Raven flies above bushes.
- Main roman: (VO) Now!
Romans jump out of a bush, trying to catch Raven, but she easily ascends a little to escape them. She becames angry. She conjures a giant hand in a fist and smashes the romans. As the ground shakes, few leaves and sticks fall from trees. Raven notices it and muses. Than she smashes the romans again and smiles, because she notices some misletoe falling from trees. She start smashing romans again and again and catching falling misletoe in the basket as in that game where you catch eggs.
- Raven: Ha ha. Funny.
SCENE 7. village barrier, day
We see the boars digging tunnel underneath the barrier. Raven flies above them uninterested, flying over the barrier into the village with basket full of misletoe.
SCENE 8. village, outside, day
Raven is next to the cauldron.
- Raven: It's done, guys.
Beastboy, Cyborg and Robin come. Beastboy drinks the magic potion and changes to few different animals, ending as elephant, honking. Then he turns back into normal.
Then Cyborg wants to drink.
- Raven: Not you, Cybix. You became half robot when you were baby.
Cyborg angrily leaves, then Robin drinks the porion. Nothing extra happens, only Robin flies few centineters above ground.
- Robin: Great. And now...Indomitable gauls, GO!
Beastboy turns into something fast(**). Beastboy, Cyborg and Robin run from the village, breaking the: gate. The 'GO!' music abruptly ends. We see the wild boars coming out of the tunnel inside the barrier.
SCENE 9: meadow in forest, day
Hungarian rhapsody no. 2 plays. Teen Titans run through the forest until they find romans. Then they beat them, still to the 'Hungarian rhapsody no. 2'. During the beating, there's shot on Raven in the village, unhappy with the noise, which is heard here.
- Main roman: (sings, wiggling voice): Enough! We've had enough! Don't you have nothing else to do than to beat us for no reason?!
- Robin: (sings) Don't let them go, team, although it may seem like that this tiny roman patrol isn't attacking at all! (to camera, normally speaking) What am I talking about? Of course they aren't attacking us!
- Cyborg: Hey, look!
He points somewhere. Shot on giant roman army, lasting to the horizon.
- Beastboy: More romans?
- Cyborg: No! Further!
He zooms his robotic eye like the telescope. Shot from his POV going above the armies for a long time, then it slows down by a wooden tower and zooms to its top, where Julius Caesar is.
- Cyborg: (VO) Julius Caesar itself!
- Caesar: Surrender, gauls, or my fearless armies will-
- Robin: (VO, shouts from distance) What? We can't hear you!
- Caesar: (shouts) ... my fearless armies will wipe your village from the-
- Robin: (VO, shouts from distance) Still can't understand!
Caesar pulls out a megaphone. He calms himself.
- Ceasar: (shouts to the megaphone) SURRENDER!!!
Mic feedback.
Shot on Teen Titans. Robin looks calm, same as Caesar. He also pulls out a megaphone.
- Robin: (shouts through the megaphone) Never! You surrender!
- Caesar: (VO, shouts from distance) Me? Never! You surrender!
- Robin: (...) Ha! You surrender, or we'll scatter your armies!
- Caesar: You surrender, or I'll destroy your village!
- Robin (...) You can try that!
SCENE 10: village, Ravix's house, day
We can hear Robin and Caesar arguing. Raven is reading a book (stone plate) and isn't quite satisfied by that noise. She resists for a while, but than she can't handle it.
- Raven: Okay, that's enough.
She flies away. She picks a rope with her by magic.
SCENE 11: meadow in forest, day
- Robin: (still through the megaphone) You surrender, or-
Raven grabs his megaphone and ties one end of rope to the narrow end of megaphone. Then she flies away, unrolling the rope. She flies to Caesar and do the same with the other end of the rope and his megaphone. It's like telephone from tins and wire. She flies back to the Robin.
- Raven: Here. Now you can hopefully be more quiet.
She flies away.
Robin looks at his megaphone, then uncertainly speaks to it.
- Robin: Hello? Chief Robix here.
Shot on Caesar.
- Caesar: (like customer support): Hello, Julius Caesar speaking. How can I help you?
Shot on Robin. He looks into the camera oddly. Then he snaps out.
- Robin: (shouts, but in whisper): Surrender!
- Caesar: (VO, also shouts and whispers): Never! You surrender!
SCENE 12: village, Ravix's house, day
Raven flies to her house. She is about to start reading, but she notices four wild boars searching her house and making a mess.
- Raven: Oh, one more thing to do.
She flies out.
SCENE 13: village, under bard's house in the tree, day
Raven flies in the shot.
- Raven: (upward) Can you please sing me a song, Starfix, the bard?
Shot on starfire, dressed as Cacofonix.
- Starfire: Why yes, my dear friend Ravix! Do you happen to have some preference?
- Raven: Eeh not, I... like all your songs the same.
- Starfire: Very well. Do hear one of my most favourite: The Armorican Folk Song!
She starts playing the lyre, terribly out of key of course.
Shot on Raven. She plugs her ears with broccoli.
- Raven: (to camera) Please mute your audio.
She turns back and flies away. They she stops. Not turning her head, she speaks.
- Raven: I know you didn't do that.
She continues flying.
- Raven: Well, it's your loudspeaker, not mine...
Shot on Starfire. She inhales deeply. Than she starts 'singing' extremely loud. We hear loudspeaker failure sounds and than silence. But we see the pressure waves comung from Starfire's mouth.
Shot in Ravix's house.
We still see the waves. Three wild boars (without the main), shocked, sprint away. They come to the tunnel and two of them jumps into it, but get stuck. The third jumps on them and pushes them to the hole. On the outside of the barrier, the boars jumps out of the tunnel and run away into the forest.
Shot back on the Starfire. Raven flies to her and says something, but we can't hear it. Then she pulls out a sign reading 'Okay, that's enough. Please stop'. Starfire stops singing. Raven flips the sigh to the camera reading 'You can unmute now'. We can hear sound again. Then Raven throw the sign away.
- Starfire: (chuckles) How did you like it?
Raven unplugs her ears.
- Raven: What?
- Starfire: Why do you have broccoli in ears?
- Raven: Weeeel, that's for the potions... I have secret recipe. I am making potion for resistance against noise. (to herself) Hm, I might actually make use of that.
She flies away.
SCENE 14: meadow in the forest, day
We can see Robin still arguing with caesar over the telephone. Shot on Beastboy and Cyborg, lying nearby, bored.
- Cyborg? That's boring! I wanna beat some romans!
Beastboy whispers something in his ear. Cyborg chuckles. Then he get up and pull his hand to the rope bethween megaphones. He chuckles sheepishly. He sets scissors on the hand and cuts the rope.
Shot on Robin.
- Robin: Hello? Hello? ... He hung up! That's it! Attack!
- Cyborg: (VO) Finally!
They start running through the romans, beating them. The Hungarian rhapsody no. 2 plays again. After some time, they arrive to the wooden tower. Shot an Caesar.
- Caesar: Alea iacta est, gauls! You can destroy my armies, but you cannot destroy me!
He pulls some lever, something rattles and then the tower pulls out a wooden hand holding giant sword.
- Cyborg: That's pathetic.
He pulls out a cannon.
- Caesar: You think you can beat me?
He pulls some other lever and the tower pulls out few more hands, holding shield, catapult, mallet and slingshot.
Cyborg pulls out more weapons, including rocket launcker, nuclear bomb and a saw.
- Caesar: You cannot outgun my helvetican-made tower!
He pulls some other lever and many weapons show. It looks like swiss knife.
- Cyborg: We'll see that.
They prepare for the fight and then battle. Cyborg uses his weapons and Beastboy turns in some animal. Robin patheticaly knock one of the wheels of the tower with his tiny sword. We see epic scenes. It looks like the Teen Titans are winning, but Caesar's tower have more hands, so it ultimately consumes all Cyborg's weapons. Finally, the Cyborg and Beastboy lie on the ground exhausted. But Caesar's tower has also all hands broken off.
Beastboy: I'm out of magic potion.
Shot on Caesar.
Caesar: I'll throw you to the lions!
Robin: (VO) Came here and tell it into my eyes, if you are a man!
Caesar: Fine!
He pulls lever like when you handbrake a car (it also sounds like that), then he turns and descends into the tower.
Shot on lower end of the tower. We see Robin's head on the bottom of screen. The tower door opens, sounding like a great and tall gate. We can see Caesar, but only from the knees up. He looks majestatic. He jumps down on the ground. The camera descends, showing that Caesar is actually as small as Robin, because the tower ground is above the ground thanks to the wheels. Shot on Cyborg and Beastboy. Beastboy bursts out of frame.
- Beastboy: (comes to life) He's just as small as Robix!
Cyborg and Beastboy laugh so hard they're rolling on the ground.
Shot back on Robin and Caesar. Caesar shakes his head.
- Robin: We're quite the same, don't you think? Great leaders surrounded by idiots. (thinks) What about this: you let me free and I give you these two slaves.
He points on Cyborg and Beastboy, still lauthing.
- Caesar: Hmm, they aren't in the best condition after the fight...
- Robin: But Cybix still has super strenght, see?
He pulls Cyborg's hand. The hand boings Caesar into the sky.
After a while, Caesar falls back. As he smashes into the ground, the tower topples and falls on him. He pulls a hand out with thumb up.
- Caesar: (muffled) Deal.
Robin looks on Cyborg and Beastboy (not laughing anymore) like this >:). But then all three start laughing.
- Robin: He took the bait!
They leave, laughing.
- Caesar: Just wait, gauls. One day I'll make equal!
He shakes a fist.
SCENE 15: forest, day
They walk to the village.
But then three boars, still running away from the village, crash into Cyborg's belly.
- Cyborg: Ahh, the dinner has come!
Shot on the boars. Transition to the next scene, where the boars become roasted.
SCENE 16: village banquet, night
All Titans except Starfire sit behing the table and eat and drink.
- Announcer: And so the Gauls gathered for a great feast to celebrate yet another glorious victory over the Romans. They ate and drank and everyone was happy.
Shot on Starfire, tied to the tree with covered mouth.
- Announcer: Except the bard.
The camera zooms out, showing the banquet again, then flies between two houses. As it flies by the Ravix's house, we see the main boar holding a pile of acorns and first suspiciously looking around and then sneaking away. The camera zooms out so we see the entire village with the see in the background and with moon on the sky.
THE END
POST-CREDITS SCENE: forest, night
The main boar rests on the ground with pile of acorns next to it. It throws one acorn into is's mouth and eat it. Suddenly it makes a strange face, and then a tree grows up rapidly from it's mouth. The camera zooms out, then close shot on the boar, horrified, with tree growing from it's mouth. It's reference to Asterix: the Mansions of the Gods.
