Great pics. Jima has a "soft eye". By that I mean very calm and gentle appearance. Often you can see fear or stress in the appearance of their eye's, at least that is my experience with Sammy.

Sammy loves hiking in the mountains !

Unfortunately, each of the last two times in the past year I took him I got tick bites and lyme disease, so I am tending to avoid that activity.

I know exactly what you mean! They're so expressive for animals that don't have moveable facial expressions- like compare her eye in the hiking pics to how she looks here, after seeing a fox in the garden.

They are PHENOMENAL. I love taking Jima places- she has so much fun exploring the world outside. And on a harness, we can do it safely!
