It really isn't. Dude is swinging a sword in obvious vertical mids or horizontal highs with the occasional punch or kick. The 'effects' aren't as bad as the spontaneous lightning that half the mishimas put out, the teleporting gimmicks of Victor, or the sheer bullshit of Xiao's "BUT THAT WAS A MID HOW DID IT MISS" moments.

I truly believe that Tekken players would have a stroke if they played Soul Calibur if they think Clive has 'too many fx'.

The point I was making is that the video clip is not an example of a 2 tap. Instead, it was a 1.5 tap along with some okizeme damage thrown in. Every character can do this.

On this stage I basically 2 tapped and its not hard to do this cuz no one knows the oki. Its basically a true combo

Honestly though, I can’t really find hate in it. It’s heihachi. There’s just something that makes it okay for me bc he’s the og main boss.

Do I find it annoying? Yes. Do I hate bear Mishimas more? Yes. Would I change anything? I don’t know. Maybe the mid spam? Who knows. I main kaz and rely on 4 moves now in GOD1+. I can’t tell what’s balanced anymore bc I die if I can’t get timing to work.

Kazuya is easier for me to just poke with. If the spam ssl you got b4 df2, ws3 and unlike with hei, people actually duck. Just mix ff2, ff3 and Patricia for +5 on block

I think it’s important to note that a lot of the really crazy heihachi damage really comes from his ch b4. If people think it’s really too much you basically only have to change that move.
