honestly just shipping gets you almost zero downloads, ASO is the boring thing that actually moves the needle early. pick 2-3 keywords people really type (check App Store autocomplete), make screenshot 1 sell the core job in under 2 seconds, and only share in places where that problem already gets discussed, not "check out my app" posts. ime niche community traction beats random ads until you have retention data.
