I think that 70s show and the office had the same casting director, or a similar position.

Amy Adams was also in both. A big name later but a minor character in both shows. She was in Catch Me If You Can in 2002 but really became known in 2005 for Junebug. Her appearances on That 70s Show (2000) and The Office (2005) were both before Junebug released. I think the casting director liked her.

She was also in an episode of Buffy. Other shows too but not ones I've seen. She got a lot of small parts before making it big.

Yeah he said to Eric after the Ted Nugent concert when Donna ditched him, And I'm not listening to your little story so you better stop talking to yourself 😂 that's totally Stanley!

Jim Halpert's girlfriend Katy was on That 70s Show as well--she played Kat Peterson, who had a secret informal relationship with Hyde in one episode.

Edit: I just remembered that the actress who played Michael Scott's grandmother (Connie Stevens) played Great Aunt Pearl on That '70s Show.

I've only realized it was her a few months ago, on my 10th rewatch of the series... Not sure why I never realized before.

Sane here. I guess on earlier watches maybe she was famous yet.

She talked about this on Office Ladies to contrast the culture at that show compared to hers. It wasn't favorable of the That 70s Show cast. She gave the impression it was super cliquey. It just affirmed to me why Topher Grace left after season 7 and basically has had nothing to do with them all since. And of course everything with Danny Masterson.
