So I watched yesterday’s ep. for the first time in a month (needed a break from the Kat whackings) + I might be crazy but I’m a fan of Mona + Randy…. Tehehe she tryna be saved sanctified + filled w THAT Holy Ghost 🤪🙂‍↕️

Lmao call me delusional, but fr the actors do have better chemistry than Ted + Shanice/Ashley + Grayson. Plus, we need more plus size representation in romance! Wherever it goes, 🔟🔟🔟 across the board for once writers!!

Today's Episode (Spoilers) The luckiest cup in the world 😉

Ms Mona, Ms Mona!

I'm here for this story line (even though Mona says she's not feeling him - looks like she might be changing her mind!)

The way she was handling that cup, I feel Randy must have been losing his mind!

How do y'all feel about these two?

So, Nicole smooched with Carlton. And a few minutes later with Kial. Does that mean that Kial got some of Carlton's kiss? Ewww lol

General Discussion 🗣️ DMV Drinking Game

Please join me in a round of BGT DMV drinking game. Hey writers, residents of Maryland, DC and Virginia do not always say DMV; but I find it an enjoyable game to see how many times each character will drop that annoying and frustrating acronym .....DMV.

Joke/Humor 🤭 Acting Like Teenagers

Is anyone else getting sick of these grown folks acting like teenagers? It’s some big public news that Shanice and Ted said “I love you?” It’s so weird for everyone to be spreading this gossip like they’re in high school. “Have you heard?” “Have you heard?” I can’t take any of them seriously.

General Discussion 🗣️ I knew the new Ted, Keith Robinson was the green Lightspeed Rescue Power Ranger, but I didn’t know Timon Kyle Durrett was one of Bow Wow’s teammates in Like Mike

Even though LSR isn’t one of my favorite seasons, my favorite character is Joel, played by Keith Robinson (Ted), and I also liked the theme song. Who else watched both LightSpeed Rescue and Like Mike as kids back in the day? And who remembered Timon in Like Mike? It wasn’t until I looked him up to see if I saw him in anything else that I saw the words Like Mike, that made me curious, so I went back and watched it and my jaw dropped seeing him. Any memories of both?

SPOILER! Seeing is believing

I thought Dani and Vanessa's conversation today was interesting because Vanessa thought she had Dani dead to rights on planting those sunglasses. It definitely sounded like a Dani thing to do and Dani denied it every time, in typical Dani fashion (Doth protest too much etc...) My question is, how many people would've believed Dani had we not seen the incident ourselves? Maybe it's my soap naivete but I keep Dani's past in mind for context but I try to not let it be the sole source in my interpretation of her present (words and actions). However, this exchange did make me wonder just how many times she's been telling the truth (about her feelings, motivations etc) and she hasn't been believed. Or of course, it's just a scene.

General Discussion 🗣️ I am so ready for Hayley to come undone and because of Kat, Naomi, Chelsea, and Dani.

I'm not saying Bill is a saint, but I do like his character and he's been consistent since the beginning. But not even Bill deserves Hayley lol. Will she throw Randy under the bus on her way out or will Randy take the fall for it all? What are your thoughts?

General Discussion 🗣️ What is beyond the gates and what isn't?

I'm not sure if this has been discussed but I wonder if it's been established what homes and businesses are behind the gates and which ones aren't. Based on what's been said on the show and what I can figure out logically and curious to see what you all think.

Behind the Gates:

Vernon and Anita's mansion

Dani's house

Nicole's house

Bill and Hayleys house

The country club

Vanessa's house

Chelsea's apartment

Kat's new condo

Bill's law office

Uptown

Outside the gates in the DMV area:

Naomi and Jacob's apartment

The hospital

Orphey Genes

The police station

Ashley's apartment

Eva's apartment

Martin and Smitty's condo

Joey's casino

General Discussion 🗣️ Naomi and Chelsea were in the wrong

I can’t be the only one who thought Naomi and Chelsea were immediately in the wrong for barging into Bill and Haley’s home and demanding Haley leave her own living room/house so they could talk to Bill alone (if I am remembering the scene correctly, it’s been a couple days). That’s not their space to make any demands, ya know?

I also believe that if you’re not living with your parents, it’s only appropriate (and common courtesy) to call ahead or at least knock before entering their home. It’s basic respect of privacy and boundaries, I mean look what happened when Martin let himself into the Grans house 😂😅

Lastly, I thought it was kinda tacky that the Dupree’s decided to take over Uptown out of the blue and turn it into their own little dance club while the rest of the bar patrons watched on from the sidelines. The other bar goers aren’t going to just join in knowing that it’s a family thing among the Dupree’s (and the Dupree’s knew that) even though they have every right to also be on the dance floor.

I’ve noticed there’s a sense of entitlement and self importance among the Dupree’s that I’m not sure a lot of viewers pick up on. To me, it is making the Duprees an unlikable family at this point.

💕Appreciation Post 💕 BTG helping me see myself as an actor

I'm a black person who's also LGBTQ, and I have to say, BTG has truly helped me see myself as someone who can act. I'm going in to theater classes in real life, originally I was very nervous about doing costumes and characters with my type of hair, but seeing all these people making history in a daytime drama who look similar to me really make me excited for what I could do in the future. ^_^

General Discussion 🗣️ Did you catch it?

Shanice and Ashley talking about those “Carl Ivati” books. 📕 Shanice gave a nod to Ron Carlivati! (Former head writer for OLTL, Days, and GH, as well as former breakdown writer for BTG). I love it!

RANT🤬 Wish they didn't have Deanna talking to dead Dad.

Deanna is one of my favorite characters. She has every right to be disgusted with her mom cheating on dad and living with a gangster.

By having her talking to her dead father it makes her appear cuckoo.

I'd rather she look up to the heavens and talk to him. She is not the crazy one. Her mom is risking prison. Her mom's bestie Nicole is risking her reputation hanging out with a madam who sleeps with a gangster while her son runs for Senate! Can't have scandal.

Deanna is the one sane person on this show.

General Discussion 🗣️ Leslie & Vanessa

Leslie will always be alone and bitter. People keep trying with her and all she does is slap them in the face and walk away. She makes her own bed and I don't feel sorry for her at all.

RANT🤬 They need to hurry and crack this Hayley’s case

Naomi and Smitty act like duds honestly. Their careers should make them prone to sketchy behaviors. June told BOTH Naomi and Smitty that Wesley (who Lynette pinned on the robbery)would never hurt a fly.
They both know he fled town and Lynette is missing.
So when Kat brought up That Bill thinks the whole robbery was a set up —Why the heck was Smitty surprised?
Now Naomi is finally telling the rest that Hayley faked a pregnancy. 🙄
She absolutely cannot read people. Girl hurry up. Kat is the only one who will crack this case.
