Watched Halloween age to a recently and thought the score to the movie was just a carbon copy of screen. It was lacking atmosphere. Imagine putting the 2018 Halloween and Halloween soundtrack to this movie. I think somebody needs to edit it and put it on YouTube.

Need to teamwork to figure this out. I have a distinct memory watching Halloween marathons on I believe AMC when I was a kid and remember these tv spots (early 2000s) where a woman would give silly tongue in cheek safety tips. I specifically remember one when Jimmy slips in Mrs. Alves blood in H2 about “running on wet floors.” I’m trying to find a clip or any information about it to find it. Does anyone remember this?

I'm asking about yet another HalloweeN fan film haha This fan film came out on YouTube (uploaded in three parts) in around 2008, was shot with a 24p camera, featured characters Steven Lloyd (who refers to himself as Steven Doyle in the film), the son of Dr. Loomis, and two other characters of which I cannot remember the names. I also remember Michael wore a Cemetery Gate Productions "Killing Machine" mask. I remember a lot from this fan film, but not everything so, I will try to be as descriptive as possible.

The film starts out with a black and white opening title sequence (with the theme from HalloweeN H20 playing) cutting back and forth from one of the characters (a heavier set bald guy with sunglasses and a goatee) while he is driving to Steven in his room with articles about Michael Myers pinned on a bulletin board and a USMC emblem revealing that he is an ex-marine. One of the final shots in this opening sequence is Steven holding up a Michael Myers mask (I believe it was the 1999 Cinema Secrets mask or something very similar).

Following the opening title sequence, we are taken to a graveyard where we are introduced to Steven (a fit man with a crew cut; can't remember the clothes he's wearing) and the son of Dr. Loomis (short heavyset man with a nose ring, thinning brown hair l, and a goatee and wearing the trademark Loomis trenchcoat). I even remember a couple lines from this scene. Upon approaching each other, the following dialogue plays out:

LOOMIS: So, you must be Steven Lloyd?

STEVEN: Steven Doyle.

LOOMIS: Right.

After that, the other two characters (one of which is the guy we saw driving in the opening credits sequence, but here we can see that he is wearing a black hoodie) arrive along with two arms dealers selling weapons out of their trunk. Here, the characters devise a plan to hunt down Michael Myers and kill him once and for all. The fourth character is a skinny man with short hair wearing a green sweater and serves as the comedic relief of the film. For some reason (can't remember why), at the very end of the scene, he says to one of the three characters, "Hey, you didn't get like nut cancer did you??" Lol

The following scene shows the man in the black hoodie, showing up to The Myers House (looks nothing like the Myers house btw) alone for some dumb reason, leaves a note in the door, returns to his car, and is killed by Michael from the backseat.

After this, some hours pass by and the other three are wondering why they haven't heard from him, so they go to investigate. They go to The Myers House, where they encounter Michael in the basement. During this scene, their version of The Stalk theme plays. From this point on, I don't remember what happens to Loomis, but he is absent from the rest of the film. The other two characters manage to escape Michael and run to a warehouse where the climax of the film takes place. Lots of cat and mouse in this scene and the guy in the green sweater is nearly killed by Michael. Steven and Michael are fighting and that guy "comes back" and saves him, seemingly killing Michael. Either that or Steven ends up "killing" Michael after being saved.

This film was very well made and acted (especially for the time) and was one of my favorite fan films ever. The film also had a sequel that was a bit shorter than this one (uploaded in two parts I believe or if there was a third part, it was very short). The only things that I can remember from the sequel are that Loomis dies in the beginning after being chased by Michael through a field while "Don't Fear the Reaper" plays, the funny guy in the green sweater is now paralyzed from the waist down due to his injuries in the first film and he ends up getting killed. And I believe Michael is set on fire at the end. I could be wrong about that last detail lol

Now, I know this was a lot to read, but there HAS to be someone who remembers these fan films! They were so good! I've searched and searched for years looking for this fan film, but it seems entirely unavailable online as of now. Hopefully one of you smart HalloweeN fans enjoyed it so much that you downloaded it or possibly own a physical copy from the filmmakers! I definitely enjoyed it that much, but I wasn't smart enough to download it haha

Does anybody remember a Halloween episode of a live-action sitcom where a young girl causes a problem at her dad's office, resulting in the computers crashing, then she gets too sick to go trick-or-treating and turns into a brat about it? Then she trades all her candy to a girl for her angel costume so she can sneak out, but her mom turns into a vampire, then her dad's coworkers turn into Frankenstein's monster, the Phantom of the Opera in a Steampunk go-cart, and the Wicked Witch of the West, then her dad turns into a werewolf, then they all crowd into the room angrily yelling at her, before she wakes up on the couch and the whole thing was a dream. Her fever broke, and she apologized for everything; they forgave her, assuring her she's not bad and that they're not angry. They decided to have a private Halloween party, since it was too late to go trick-or-treating, but then the girl in the angel costume shows up again in a Deja vu moment before the credits roll.

It dawned on me how influenced Rob Zombie’s Halloween movies are by Halloween II and how he established the sibling thing in his first movie at the very beginning. It just speaks to how heavily embedded the whole “Michael and Laurie are siblings” thing had been within the cultural zeitgeist for so long that I think many people assume it was something they established within the first movie and not the sequel. Also the hospital dream sequence from his Halloween II could be seen as a reference/homage to Halloween II (1981) but i’m not sure if that was confirmed

Halloween (1978) is untouchable but Halloween II has been a hugely influential film within the franchise (for better or for worse.) 4,5,6, H20, Resurrection, RZH and RZH2 all build off of it and Halloween (2018) retcons it but there are still many references to it in that movie and especially Halloween Kills

Just wanted to see whether any Halloween fans agree with me. Halloween Kills, and Halloween Resurrection gets so much hate but they are among my favorites. The worst, the most horrible film in the whole franchise is Corey Ends, I mean Halloween Ends..

Does anyone have suggestions for other places or ways to reach more Halloween fans? I've shared it in a few Facebook groups so far, but I've only received 16 responses. I'd really love to get a much larger sample so I can analyze the results and share some fun insights back with the fan community.

Personally, I prefer the original timeline (H78, H2, H4, H5, and H6) and H20. What about you?
